18Jun25: low energy…

Andy and I needed a rest so this post is a lot thinner than lately.
Still sleeping.
He got up, stretched, then went back to sleep.
I had to order a new lampshade to replace this one. Good news: I killed the fly when I swatted it on this lampshade. That was the most exciting thing to happen yesterday afternoon. Andy missed the hunt!

=(>×<)=

(Andy snooze a bit before he left the room.)

My blood phosphorus level is high and the complication is virtually every food I like is high in phosphorus. Too much or too little phosphorus in your blood and your heart can stop. Needless to say, I need to review the list of high phosphorus foods and adjust my eating habits. Ugh!

=(^+^)=

When Andy came back, he posed nicely till I got this photo of him in full magnificence!
Thanks, Andy!

    • Yes,and I’ve avoided having to have it till recently. It comes on a powder you mix in water and take once a week three times before or after you take your regular medications.

  1. Cats with ckd get a powder called a phosphorous binder sprinkled on their food. They seem to hate it, bt maybe a human would tolerate it. (I’m guessing you probably know all this and are on the appropriate meds…so I’m just sending purrayers that you can solve this health challenge too.)

    • I’m now ona powderbinder you mix in water and take once a week three times before or three times after you take your regular medications. Diet will help, too.

    • Yes, I hope diet changes do the trick. The alternative is a medicine or a “recipe” change on how they set up the dialysis machine.

  2. Wow, that is a great picture of Andy for sure, and I like the other pics too! Hopefully you’ll find the right phosphorus balance in foods quickly and without too much trouble.
