19Jun25: blueberry loaf breakfast…

Waiting for our neighbor to come over.
An American robin stopped by.
I never seem to take smiling selfies, but I was happy it was Wednesday – yesterday to you – and my neighbor Bret was coming over to help eat the blueberry loaves with me.
The blueberry loaves are freshly baked and waiting, too!
Bret here, Andy had to come around to be sociable!
We were talking about something serious when I took this.
Andy, in the meantime, was scratching an itch.
Whew! Three of these was at least one more than I needed, but I eventually finished them all.
While Bret and I finished our coffee and blueberry loaves…
…Andy worked on…
…his famous…
… shedded kitty hair clump! See it at the bottom of the bottom of the photo? That’s a small one.  I think of this as shedding season, but the reality is, shedding season is 12 months a year. I can’t believe Andy isn’t bald!

    • The blueberry loaves are my favorite way to use fresh blueberries…a bit of tartness moderates the sweetness of the loaves. Andy really should be bald but he must have fast growing kitty hair!

    • Yes, I like to bake breads and muffins. It helps having a neighbor come over so I don’t eat everything on the plate!

    • They were very tasty, and, yes, shedded hair and hairball are endless. “Shedding season” only means 10 times as much hair and hairball to deal with than usual, eh?!
