All of the confusion surrounding an appointment and what I had to go through to straighten it out the past few days threw me off. I knew Bret was taking his mother to an appointment, forgot it was this week, not next. In my defense, the photo shows the whiteboard I use to keep on track of Andy and my appointments. We have too many regular appointments I need to track, and it’s too easy to mess up on informal plans not on the board!

Cats have a fairly accurate internal clock! Poor Andy misses his regular visitor, but looks like he made up for it with a good nap.
That white board is a great idea for keeping things organized.
They sure do have a good internal clock – “wake up, it’s time to eat.” Who needs an alarm clock?
I literally don’t use an alarm clock since I have kitty timing in my home!

Ohhhh, the sweet purrs, nudges, and occasional swipes of a paw!
Yes, Andy manages to work through things.
The white board proved to be a very workable solution for too much to keep track of otherwise!

In this house I am that board.
I hope everyone appreciates your services!

Nah. The males of the household just blunder along, neither giving a hoot nor even aware of my efforts.
Keeping track of events and appointments on a calendar is necessary for me.
I tried that and found I forgot to check it. The white board is next to where I watch television and do this blog. I can’t miss it …yet!

My life would be a series of missed opportunities if I didn’t have a calendar. Back in the old days when I could remember anything, I didn’t need it. Now I have to check to see what day of the week it is.
I am rhe same. I have two clocks that give me the day of the week, yesr, date, time, and, on one, the room temperature. One is set up with the 24 hour military time format and the other let’s me know night or day with the display brightness.Whew!
Doug Thomas
so you can feel joy while waiting for rolls and coffee next week…
Yes, it’s s highlight of my week!
Doug Thomas
I do that with arrangements I think I don’t need to remember. I trust Bret appreciated that Andy was waiting for him
Yes, Bret appreciates Andy!
I need to be organized or miss an appointment.
Doug Thomas
I see you have reverted to Someone – darn it
We need something like your board! It’s so hard to keep with all the Dr. This and Dr. That we have to deal with these days!
It’s working for me. I had too many to track before without some orderly way of doing it
