21Oct25: taking a nice photo of Andy…

Not just so….
Yeah! The old “head down” trick Andy’s notorious for!
A variation on the last one: hide your face in the floofy tail!
Act goofy…it appeals to me, but I want a nice photo.
This will have to be the nice photo this time.

LOL! Predictable,  eh? It’s a nice one, too.

My appointment with Dr. Patel, pulmonologist, was very routine. Since any concerns he had initially have healed and no new issues have come up, my next appointment is in April, in six months. That’s my favorite kind of doctor’s appointnent!

On the other hand, the seven day cardio monitor produced unusable data. I “get” to do this one again. The kit is supposed to arrive by November 3rd.

20Oct25: wary…

Andy’s wary today.
I cut off some mats and he is upset with me.
He’s keeping his distance!

He eventually forgave me and came around for treats and a snooze.

19Oct25: a quick visit…

Andy just had a zoomies attack.
He decided to come visit.
Not nice, Andrew! LOL!
Now what?
He’d eaten just minutes ago on yummy Persian kitty dry food.
Greenies….
Not yet.
You probably guessed it…
…Andy decided it was time for a kitty nap!

18Oct25: loving my kitty…

Sometimes I have to just touch my kitty.
I love Andy…
…and spoil him…
…a lot!

17Oct25: sleeping kitty…

I enjoy watching Andy sleep.
He gets into incredible positions.
He sometimes hangs over the edge of the ottoman, so I propped a pillow on its edge to give Andy a more comfortable way to hang.
He took to the pillow right away!
Lovely!
Maybe not too comfortable in this position.
This was better.
Yes, tried and true comfort.
Nap’s over.
Time for the next one.
I don’t get to use my pillow any longer. Cats rule, dogs drool, as cats note.
I can’t stop taking ’em….

Andy’s hind feet both have these projecting hair clumps that make him look like he’s speeding.

16Oct25: tired  day’s post…

I’ve learned one thing from all the kitties I’ve had over the years: if you feel tired, take a nap!
Because I napped, I felt fresh enough to bake some muffins. Banana muffins with mini Reese’s peanut butter cups turns out to be a happy experiment.
After I ate one, I felt like taking a nap. I took one more photo of Andy, then took that anticipated nap. Naps were the theme of the day. Though I didn’t tally all the nap times, I think a cat would be proud of me!
I’ll take my “kitty bath” later.

15Oct25: a brief visit…

Andy stopped by.
He sniffed around the box.
He was aware that he was being watched…
…making him jerk his head…
…before moving on.

14Oct25: too soon…

“What’s the matter, Andy?”
He just stared at the Greenies.
I guess it’s too soon after his wet food for Greenies.
Time enough for a kitty bath instead.
Then…a nap.

13Oct25: a scary thought…

Friday the 13th landed on Monday this month….

More leakage on follows. While it disappoints me, I honestly don’t know what brought people to my kitty blog in the first place. Thank you if you still enjoy these posts. If you don’t, well, I don’t know what to do to improve your experiences here…bye.

Here’s something really scary: On October 12th, Home Depot had a television commercial for Christmas. That’s the first one I’ve seen for 2025. Eeeeek!!!!!
