Not just so….Yeah! The old “head down” trick Andy’s notorious for!A variation on the last one: hide your face in the floofy tail!Act goofy…it appeals to me, but I want a nice photo. This will have to be the nice photo this time.

LOL! Predictable, eh? It’s a nice one, too.

My appointment with Dr. Patel, pulmonologist, was very routine. Since any concerns he had initially have healed and no new issues have come up, my next appointment is in April, in six months. That’s my favorite kind of doctor’s appointnent!
On the other hand, the seven day cardio monitor produced unusable data. I “get” to do this one again. The kit is supposed to arrive by November 3rd.

Good news on the pulmonology report! I hope the next round of data collection with the heart monitor is usable. Keeping you, and Andy, i my thoughts and prayers for a good outcome.
Thank you, Lavinia
Both of us are well enough that all our doctors agree that follow-ups are enough to keep on top of what ails up. My pulm9nologist just asked if I would like to try something – full details later – that has the potential for a few patients to get off dialysis. I doubt that can happen for me, but I am curious about what potential benefits it can have for me.
Ugh. I had to wear a heart monitor for seven days. It was oddly uncomfortable. Good luck! (I like the goofy picture. He kind of has an “old man” expression. 🙂
The tedious part is taking showers without getting it wet. I like to have that daily shower without being careful not to wet it down. I have to put a bit of Press and Seal plastic over it. That patch of skin, then, goes for days without getting properly washed.
It was corrupted. I don’t know exactly what that means, though I suppose it skipped some measurements, leaving partial information that didn’t show heart events that would mean something to the cardiologist.
Andy is so fluffy it’s often hard to tell the front from the back unless his eyes are open! Some good news on the health front, I’m not a fan of the cardio monitors but I suspect they are easier and less bulky than when I had to do one about 10 years ago.
That they are! I’ve had that bulky kind, too. Then, I had one that was a rubber finger cap with a small electronic thing attached on the end – that one was failure because it interfered with sleep for some reason, and I took it off after a few sleepless hours. The one that failed and that I will try again for seven days is small, adhesive-backed, and is an electronic button that has two small antennas (?) that collect the data. The whole thing is about two inches or so long, very small. The next innovation needs to be this same gizmo only water proofed!

Wow! That would be wonderful if you could get off dialysis! I’ll keep my fingers crossed for whatever solution is best for you.

Yes, one seven day period was too much, now I have to go through it again.

SOrry you have to deal with the monitor again.

Unusable Data? So, it got something? What does that even mean?

I think the photos of Andy are really nice, Doug.
Thanks, TW! I find photographing Andy relaxing and challenging at the same time.

Ha! Andy can be a bit of a rascal about posing – and I think all kitties can – but when he strikes a good pose it’s absolutely fabulous!
I totally agree! That’s part of the fun of trying to get photos of him.
Doug Thomas
that are super nice photos… his eyes are wonderful!
Nice if you can catch them in a photo….!
