31Jan26: a slow day…

Andy spent a lot of it watching the scene outside or sleeping in the north bedroom.
Jere, he’s looking at the guest bedroom door. Dougy’s ghost?
Sniffing at the inevitable Greenies before…
…ponering them, then…
…eating them, of course.

=(^+^)=

My day was spent waiting for Lincare to pick up three four-packs of empty oxygen cannisters.

By late afternoon, the cannisters were still by the door. Waiting for a pick up, I missed my afternoon nap. I barely could keep my eyes open. I don’t chose to take these naps, my body hits a fatigue wall, a nap happens. I felt the fatigue all. A nap had to happen. So I just took one.

If Lincare shows up for the cannisters, fine. If not, I’ll just have to work around them for another week. They take up lots of room.

Uh oh. A dark presence wants something.
Yeah. Predictable.

    • Today (4 Feb) one of the dialysis staff and her husband volunteered to pick the empties up and bring back enough full ones to get me through to next Friday. I appreciate this very, very much! They get to meet Andy for the first time, if he cooperates!

    • Nope. Another person heard me say I was going to drive down to Scottsbluff to do the return and pickup of full cannisters. She, a dialysis staff member, said she and her husband were going there anyway and volunteered to take thr empties down and bring the full ones I need back. I am very appreciative!!

  1. These cold dreary days are made for naps… lots of napping… for kitties and their humans. We are doing the same here. Hoping the cannisters are picked up… a bit frustrating to wait on someone else’s schedule… we only feel free to totally relax once all is in order. Doug, hoping you and Andy have a restful evening and a restorative sleep. Best thots to you both….

    • You are dead on about how rest becomes possible once all the loise ends are tied together! I haven’t slept well in days.
