My poor VW! Gasoline skyrocketing and it’s been on the road just once. (Lucky me!)So, I arrive home. Andy’s ready for a meal.Me, too, but kitties are first. First, though, is this letter the ca⁰rrier either didn’t pick up or they don’t do that now. At 78 cents an ounce, I expect much better service.Speaking of which……Andy…
…does, too. OK, my kitty, I take care of you now.

Once a quality analyst, always one, I guess.
This is a grocery list. I tried to place items in the order of where they are in the aisles. It was a big one, so it did help!
I went over the aisles with the person taking my order to get a better list of kinds of things to find, where. I’ll fine tune this “form” and determine if separation lines are necessary, for example, or I can use wider vertical lines, with horizontal ones breaking a column into more than one aisle when an aisle has a short list. That sounds workable!
It seems the same anal-compulsive nature of quality guys is identical to that of English majors. I’m doomed!

Doug, I checked the USPS FAQ about mail pick up at the box at home. “However, carriers are not required to check mailboxes for outgoing mail that do not have flags up if they do not have deliveries for that address that day.” The link below has more on the subject. https://faq.usps.com/s/article/Outgoing-Mail-Pickup
Yesterday I paid $45.24 for eight gallons of gas in my Honda Civic, in California, where gas prices are supposedly the highest in the country. And it was at a station where the prices are usually lower than the name brand Big Oil guys. Luckily I don’t drive much since retirement, though I have an appointment next week with a specialist whose office is on the other side of the county. (Why can’t physicians keep clinics in the city, instead of in a newish outer ring suburb? Even dealing with downtown parking would be preferable to 30 minutes on the freeway.)
English majors…well, I have met a few who had difficulty with analyzing texts and organizing sentences. And they were in grad school!
I live 2 miles from most of my health care, but the specialists are 2 hours, 3.5 hours, 5 hours, and 9 hoursbround trips from where I live. The Veteran
s Administration takes care of several of those, but finding a driver or driving myself when I’m able is the other alternative. There is a specialties clinic in the 2miles awat local hospital, which is where the dialysis clinic is, too. I agree with you.
I often recopy my grocery list (especially the long ones) so that items are grouped by where they are. If I don’t I’m running all over the store multiple times. Good for getting steps in but tiring.
That’s funny. I thought your list reminded me of engineers I’ve known.

Only the ones who want to when they are a few feet away from it, I guess.

Yes, Doug, the price of gasoline is very high. It’s nice that you feed Andy before eating.
His stomach is smaller, he gets hungry fastz! I keep kibble out at all times so he can hac L very something any time he needs it.

The view out your front door, Doug… looks like a nice day there… here we are hoping for Spring to arrive soon!
The grass wants to green up and the birds are tootling their amorous best songs, hoping some sweetie hears and responds in some agreeable way.

Our first class post of that size now costs £1.80 and may take days to deliver
WOW-! I’ll stop whining about July 78 cent 1st class letter that’s terrible.
Doug
that is a super good idea to make a shopping list that way… we will try to do that too… it saves time and nerves ;O)
I started doing this because I now have groceries delivered. It works well a nd is appreciated as ted by the people doing the job on my behalf.

Hey! I was an English major … But others are probably better at anal-ysis than I am …
“The Curse” is among us, yet someone has to stamp out ignorance.
