08May26…

Andy stopped by when I got close to the refrigerator.
“Greenies?” (His generic term for edibles….)
“No? You put some out around the corner?”
“You sure?”

As sure as rain, Andy!

He

Decided the front door has more prespects.

“A bird!”
Yes,that caught his attention.
So predictable.
In wait….

06May26:

Where are the Greenies?
There? No.
Not here, either.
On the floor? Nope… well, old ones I won’t touch….
I’m waiting, Doug!
“Patience, kitty boy!”
“Here you go!”
Nom! Nom!

05May26: I’m OK, just too busy with appointments…

Andy and I are fine. I’ve just been overwhelmed with appointments… and exhaustion.
Andy wants his Greenies.
I want a little relief from appointments!
That’s right, Andrew! Get your pleasures whenever you find a spare moment.
“More Greenies, please.”

02May26: hello – goodbye…

Andy stopped by.
“Hello!”
Nothing exciting, I guess.
“Goodbye.”
That was
short.
What was that about!?

     =(^+^)=

Yesterday was sleepy one. I slept through dialysis, mostly. The fatigurp wall hit me around 12 noon so, and I got over five hours of bed rest later. This most likely is because of the extra length of oxygen line (at home), so I didn’t wake up disconnected from the oxygen concentrator.

Lately, the short oxygen line’s popped off the canula (the deal with two prongs that you stick in your nose). It is odd to realize you’ve spent some length of time without oxygen –  and that you wake up pissy!

Chris, the Lincare supply deliverer, brought several lines and auxiliary parts yesterday, and they quickly upgraded my oxygen system.

(No, I don’t have to sleep with a mask. The canula stays in place somehow.)

A bonus Andy photo!

01May26: sorting things out…

Andy’s at peace with the world.
Cute, eh?!
I, on the other hand, am trying to
sort out which days I go in an hour earlier for wound care and which…
….OK! This settled the question!
Yes, Monday is foot care, early before dialysis.
As an old quality guy, I know that once you establish “normal” variation, randomly tossing in little changes increases variation beyond expected levels. You destabilize the process! Yep!
So, when trying to sort out one appointment, I get a call to make another! I’m not by my white board with future apppoinents. I managed to make one I can make.

Now, arranging a ride.
Andy’s awake now. He must have heard me making loud mouth noises while sorting appointments out.
