Thanks, Lavinia. I hope so, too. I thought that he will be my last pet is difficult to deal with. My Seattle sister’s approach – adopting older shelter cats – is one possibility to consider, too.
I didn’t enjoy school, though I was a good student. Thet were some light moments, though, and they are shared with my Class of 1966 classmates when we get together each month for lunch.
