29Jul23: In which Andy is left alone….

Andy didn’t get the memo…

…telling him the Class of 1966 monthly luncheon was scheduled for noontime.

Waiting for lunch, a smartphone mystery got worked on.

Doug tried to smile for the photo….

Menus were studied.

Doug ordered a bacon cheeseburger and potato salad. A big mug of **Fat Tire satisfied his thirst!

Lots of chatter till everyone had his or her meal delivered.

That cheeseburger and potato salad were very tasty!

=(^+^)=

Noontime, last Friday of the month, except when that is a holiday or other reason to reschedule or cancel – that’s when the Class of 1966 luncheon group gets together. It was a bit thin for July, but we had a great time anyway! Afterwards, we drove over to Donna’s for ice cream and cookies. On a hot day, that hit the mark! Gordie, Terry, and Donna are to thanks for paying for the meals, the drinks, and the dessert.

**”Overall, the flavor is a toasty malt with gentle sweetness and a flash of fresh hop bitterness. Fat Tire is made with Willamette, Goldings and Target hops. It has 18.5 IBUs and 5.2 percent ABV. The malts in Fat Tire include Pale, C-80, Munich and Victory.”

    • We actually have a couple Class of 1967 people who come, both because the are either married to one of my classmates or because they are a caregiver of one of my classmates. At our age, that one year difference is meaningless, and we enjoy their company just the same as if they graduated with us.

    • It is good for us old folks to stay involved with others, especially people like me who can be quite content not socializing. I’m one of those people who hates going places but has a great time once I get there.
