Remember when Andy tried out the new television stand for potential kitty spots!?

Well, he had to try out the new spot for his scratching post/lounger first…

…then he discovered this spot behind a door.

He not only opened the door by himself, he seems well pleased with the potential for using it as a new Cat Cave! So much for my plans for it!

This is what it looks like outside my front door on moonless nights when the street light in the next lane over is off or, in this case, very dim, which it randomly seems to be.

I need light to get to my car to drive to dialysis. That’s three times a week. The darkness is unacceptable for obvious reasons – I hope! – so, after three hand-held flashlights proved cumbersome and unhelpful when I loaded or tried to load my walker into my car, the black VW Golf SportWagen, I ordered a jogger’s headband LED light from Amazon. This second photo shows you how good a job it turns the darkness into a safe place for me.
