Andy is upset because I pet him when he wanted his treats, so he scratched the kitty lounger, his way to let off steam while letting me know he’s upset with me.

Amazingly, he didn’t stop for Greenies…

…because he settled on watching for me from his door perch.

“I see you, Doug!”

I used the time till Andy did something new to wash dishes. I guess moving under the walker has to count.

Andy noticed I was through washing dishes, so came over for his for a “cabinet mousie search.”

His kitty friend Tashi in New England recently reported his kitty boy companion Louis got to play with a mousie in the house till their human put it outdoors.

It’s OK, Andy. Louis just lucked out. Maybe you’ll catch a mousie one day, too!
=(^+^)=

I made blueberry muffins Wednesday.
Though a tiny tin of blueberries is included in the mix, I prefer to use fresh blueberries. I save the mix blueberries till I have a few tins saved up, then I make blueberry syrup for waffles.
I think the mix blueberries are dried ones and they are packed in water. You are supposed to drain them, or you have purple muffins!
Once drained, there are very few blueberries left, and they are tiny compared with fresh.
I add half a container of the fresh to my variation, leaving no doubt they are blueberry muffins!
So Lovely and beautiful photographs dear Doug, especially number 3 I loved how he was watching you… Thank you, Love, nia
Thanks, nia!
Andy knows where I am anytime I’m at home!
Doug
Your muffins look great.
They were especially good this time. Fresh blueberries made a huge and delicious difference. I will wait in future for fresh blueberry season before making them again.
Doug
You should invest in a toque, and wear it having a talk with Andy. Love his peeping at you shots.
I do make edible things… lol! Peeping Andy is a regular feature of living with him Gerry.

He’s a grand cat, a Doug cat. ♥
It’s great watching your life with Andy, Doug. Those muffins look delicious.
The muffins were very delicious! They didn’t last long.
Doug
Fresh berries are always the best! Have you ever tried blackberry muffins?
Glad Andy has never found a mousie in the cabinets. 🙂
Yeah, no mousies is fine with me. I haven’t tried blackberries in muffins but they no doubt are good that way!
Doug
He’s quite the character.
That he is, GP!

That third picture made me spit my breakfast all over my lap! Andy looks like a much cuter version of the wheelers from Return to Oz. (If you ever saw the film, you won’t need to Google these because they will have been permanently imprinted on your nightmares ever since.)
I never saw that one, so will check it out. I read several Oz books when I was kid.
Doug
Yummy!
They were!
Doug
You reminded me of a wedding that had a homemade 3-tier blueberry cake with fresh blueberries. I think it was the 2nd cake, made in a rush cause the first had broken apart overnight.
We used to get indoor mousies here, always brought in by a cat. I’d see several cats staring at a spot and know it was time to trap&release. It hasn’t happened in quite awhile.
That sounds like a delicious cake!
No mousies ever here, though Andy lives in hope a one or two show up.
Doug
I really like the pictures of Andy watching you from the doorway
Me too!
Those muffins look good! Andy is so mousie-vigilant, he no doubt will know exactly what to do if any mousies do show up!
I’m sure you are right about Andy and mousies!
