Andy is a stoic kitty at the veterinarian’s, as you know.

So, when his veterinarian came into the examination room…

…he didn’t get unruly or whine when she opened the carrier to lift him out.

Of course, Dr. Olejnik has a gentle, soothing “bedside manner” with little fuzzballs!

She examined his ears  and listened to his heart. He was patient and a very good kitty!

Then it was time to make a new follow-up appointment and to pay the bill.

“There’s a MOUSE, Andy!”

Andy was happy to return home.

The follow-up in two weeks is to see if the hyperthyroidism treatments are working or if there are any complications from the medicine. He’ll have another procedure to evaluate his heart. He has a heart murmur, a condition we’ve known about for several years. Andy is in pretty good shape, though, for a 13-year-old kitty, so don’t, be concerned.
