23Nov24: a bit of good luck…

Andy has the medication routine and time down.

While I was getting the medications prepared, this is where the little darling was watching from.

Filling the orange syringe is the “hard” part, mostly because Andy hears me in the kitchen, removing the medicine from the refrigerator.

=(^+^)=

The part I can’t show you is how he escaped from the north bathroom, sneaked through the front room, hiding under chairs and getting between the recliner and me.

Keep in mind that I use a walker, giving the nimble Andy a huge advantage to start with!

Andy sprinted into the south bedroom, hiding briefly in the south bathroom.

I have to use a walking stick between the recliner and a walker I leave in the south bedroom. It was that walking stick I used to corral Andy deep into the south bathroom, behind the toilet. It was a snap, then. to roll my walker over and pick the little rascal up!

Victory is mine, Andrew!

He got his medications on time, if under huge protest. To his credit, once he was wrapped in the towel, he was mostly cooperative. Mostly enough for a kitty boy, anyway!

    • I try to have strategic doors closed well before they need to be and medication arranged in such a way that I can get them without signaling to Andy that I’m about to get him.
