02Sep25: Andy’s hidey hole – the guest bedroom!

Andy ran into…
…the guest bedroom…
… a short time ago.
I don’t see him.
Not in the bathroom.
More places he could be….
Maybe he’s behind the bed…
…or under it. (I hope not!)
Nope! He’s hiding behind the exercise machine weights. In the darkness, I initially thought the black lump was a radio. Then “it” moved ever so slightly! I see you, Andrew!

=(^+^)=

This was the first time I’ve looked in the guest bedroom since my sister and niece did major cleaning, sorting, tossing, and arranging in that room in late June. While the new arrangement is acceptable and an improvement, Andy may not like leaping from the bed to that favorite observation window. Of course, that little stand near it might work as a hopping off place, though the breakables on it might land on the carpet.

(A small part of my 5 ft./ 1,52 meter walking stick, walking stick, a souvenir from my 1980s Nebraska Ornithologists’ Union days.)

I like the new arrangement, though my sister and niece didn’t know the walker was just inside the door for a reason: I use it when in the guest bedroom because my regular one won’t fit between the recliner and glide rocker. As it is, I have to use my walking stick to get from the recliner to just inside the door to the guestroom walker. I corrected that problem after I photographed the bedroom for this post, and I let you see this favorite haunt of Andy’s.

    • He never played with most of them, so I stopped buying toys when what he likes to play with are bottle caps and walnuts!
