Post 563: Andy was a good boy today.

It’s a good day when neither Andy nor I gets stressed out when it’s time for Andy to take his medicine like a big kitty. Today, he did just that! Good boy!

After cleaning up the mess the other day, I decided to start giving Andy and Dougy their kitty treats in a little cat dish instead of scattering the treats on the floor, which assures both cats have a better chance of getting some of them.

Mess containment - the kitty treats go into the little cat dish!

Cats being cats, however…

...Andy, of course, eats the treats over the carpet! Nothing gained for housekeeping, but the cats are happy.

Treats eaten, Andy scurried over to the cat lounger by the door. He likes that lounger because of the multiple escape roots from “The Man”!

Andy's a clever little guy. Here he watches me from the safety of the lounger by the door.

I love Andy and Dougy’s fluffy cheeks. What the heck, everything about Persians is fluffy but their teeth. I love the fluffiness of Persian cats!

This is a bonus photo. Sometimes the limitations of the little point and shoot Nikon I use result in oddly beautiful impressionistic photos, of which I think this one is one:

In many ways, I like this "mistake" best of all.

What do you think? Interesting or just a mess?

  1. I love the picture of Andy sitting on the lounger. His hairs look great by the contrast between the dark grey body and the black of his sweet face and paws. His eyes slightly light seem like lanterns. In the last picture, I find the blurry of the cat’s movement is very interesting, but the pet bowls could be clear.

  2. Good boy Andy.
Love that look of “I own the place” on Andys place.
Their fluffiness is par to what makes them adorable.
You and the boys have a good week end coming up way to fast.

  3. GOOD FOR YOU………….WHEN MY JIMBO JIMMY HAD MAJOR SURGERY AND HAD A KIDNEY REMOVED…AND CAME HOME WITH A BIG WIDE WHITE COLLOR ON THEN HE WAS TOO POORLY TO EAT…AND THE VET GAVE HIM A 50/50 CHANCE BUT YOU KNOW DOUG…I GOT SOME REAL LOVELY ROYAL CANINE MUSHY WET FOOD,MICROWAVED IT FOR A FEW SECONDS AND PUT IT ON MY FINGER AND HE LAPPED IT UP,SLOWLY BUT SURELY AND JIMBO JIMMY SURVIVED TO SEE ANOTHER 6 GOOD MONTHS….HEY WHO CARES ABOUT THE MESS…………….WE ARE ALL ANIMAL LOVERS…X

  4. It has movement for sure, and action shots are always interesting *smiles*. What size are the boys? I’m curious, roughly in inches would do from head to base of tail, they look huge often due to the fluffiness factor I suspect heh.
