Andy and Dougy don’t get too many calls, but they heard from Ms. Zulu yesterday.
Ms. Zulu proposed that the boys and she exchange questions by Skype. You know, dog questions about cats, and cat questions about dogs: inquiring minds want to know!
Andy and Dougy were amenable, and both the boys and Ms. Zulu set about having their humans writing down questions they had about the other. Sometime in the next few days, their questions and answers with appear here and in the blog posted by Ms. Zulu’s human, Anarette.
Don’t worry. We’ll set up links between our two blogs so you can see both sets of questions and answers so long as you follow one or the other of our blogs. (One hopes you’ll follow both of us, of course!)
We’ve seen the preliminary questions, and we think you will enjoy the answers. Both Ms. Zulu and the boys are very specific and (I confess for the boys) a bit biased, but the answers surely will be handled with grace and good manners. Really!

I have listed this adventure on my website as well: http://anarette.com/awards-and-collaboration/
I’m never that ambitious! The collaborations I’ve done so far were suggested by you and Tom of “Cats at the Bar”. It’s fun!
I was not either and was surprised how the list had grown since 2013 when I started Anarette.
I was looking at your list, and was a bit amazed! I’m in pretty good company, so need to clean up my act a little. 😉
I am sure Andy and Dougy will help out too if you ask them.
I’ll send them on a publicity tour…!
The three of them can go together. Ms. Zulu will herd them.
I don’t know how much border collie Ms. Zulu has in her, but she better have a bunch if she hopes to move the boys in the same direction!
I am pretty sure she could figure out how to do this.
I don’t know…the boys are named after Scottish icons, and everyone knows how pigheaded we can be!
This is going to be fun, I reckon.
We hope everyone enjoys it! Anarette and I have had fun with it so far, as have Ms. Zulu, Andy, and Dougy.
Sonu Singh and I are looking forward to reading!!
Ms. Zulu was very sweet about the questions she asked, but my boys revealed a little anti-dog bias…! Well, not anti-dog so much as a misunderstanding about this noble beast! LOL! Anarette and I haven’t made a final decision about when these will be posted, but I think all will go up within the next few days.
Can’t wait!
I hope you find it worth the wait!
I think Ms. Zulu cleared up the misunderstandings.
She was very gracious, especially on the matter of wet dog smell…! I told the boys that wasn’t very pc, but they were very curious about this, having heard a naughty person say something about such a phenomenon!
Well can’t blame a cat for trying. And asking questions is the only way to learn about stuff.
True! True! True!
Kommando Kitty and Super Snoops are looking forward to the discussions. They don’t want their own dog, but hope to learn something.
I hope we do learn something or other! I am looking forward to the boys’ answers, too, since some question involve their relationship with me…!
There is lots to learn for sure, Ms. Zulu
Looking forward to it! 🙂
It’s been fun working on it, though I confess I hate working in google document or WordPerfect for all of the idiotic technical challenges not related to writing they toss in your way. Oh well, got through the worst of it, and Anarette and I seem to be on track for the interviews!
Great, we are very close indeed to get it all online.
I could put my part up today, but won’t…! I didn’t expect things to go so smoothly (word processor programs aside), and we got lots of interesting responses, eh!?
We did!
This is very cool.
It was Anarette’s idea, and I couldn’t resist! Isn’t Ms. Zulu the cutest dog? I especially love her ears!
Thanks, the guys and girl were very talkative so there is lots of good stuff.
Yes, it turned out pretty well, I thought. Andy is kind of quiet, but he had some questions alright! Ms. Zulu and Dougy got right to the meat of things.
Well, we need listeners and talkers. There seemed to be a good balance in the interviews.
Yes, they seemed pretty balanced on both sides!
He is such a handsome fella and is so art. Also has such a sweet face.
Look again…”Ms.” Zulu, not “Mr.”, but you are right. She is a very pretty pooch! I love her ears!
oh my so sorry the lovely young lady. Geez
No problem! My boys were once referred to as “your puppies”, which was funny at the time, but turned out was exactly what the lady thought they were. LOL! It’s easy to do.
Ms. Zulu thanks you Sunset Dragon. She is very sweet indeed. Very bright too as she helps me whenever she can with my website.
Very bright, too, as people will soon learn from the interview!
Reblogged this on Anarette and commented:
An Important Announcement:
We’re getting there!
Definitely! Ms. Zulu is very excited about all this. Me too btw.
Me, too! This collaborative blogging is kind of fun! This is just the second time I’ve done it, but it is basically pretty positive. Thanks again for suggesting we have our critters get together for a little Q&A session!
Thank Ms. Zulu, she was the one who asked since I talked to her about Dougy and Andy so much!
Hey, it’s a chance to meet two cats at one time, and Andy and Dougy, though not extremely familiar with dogs, are pretty cool around them. No hissing or growling or acting scared, I mean!
I agree, they were both very well behaved. Must have something to do with their upbringing.
No thanks to me, I’m sure!
