Cats are great teachers, if you pay attention to them. For example, a cat doesn’t complain about the size of a box, he or she just uses it!
There is no way Dougy can fit into this new box, but that doesn’t stop him from using it anyway!
There is a lesson there: Be happy with what you have, and make the best possible use you can of it. Smart kitty!

One of the benefits of age is recognition of what counts and what is trivial, eh!? We both have health issues and family with health issues that remind us of the importance of those family relationships over things.
If a magazine falls on the floor, it becomes a cat base of operations. A cardboard circle that was used in a package has become a favorite auxiliary “tool for wand toy play- I draw the toy insect under the disc, and the boys go nuts digging it out! And so on!
Cats (and dogs as well) use whatever is useful. My little dog does not like to lie down on the floor so he will find whatever is nearby and make use of it.
Yes, I don’t exclude doghs from life’s lessons. I just don’t have as many in my life these days. Most people where I live have cats because they are less of a hassle in apartments and retirement communities.
They are always more fun when appreciate their play their way.

LOL! My blog for tomorrow has to do with ownership of wastepaper baskets, empty boxes, and magazines dropped on the floor. Andy claims them all, and Dougy thinks something’s odd about that since he thinks they all are his…!

More fun!

Hey, they got me up extra early today so I could post it earlier than usual. Good kitties! (Except when they are bad, which they also were…!)

George has this pathetic whine he pulls out when he is hungry. Yesterday, he wanted out of doors (only ever happens by accident and gives me fits). It appeared that he wanted to greet the new kittens.

Dougy has an irritating whiny meow he uses when he wants to play but I am trying to do something else. I can imagine George’s meow!

It is pathetic. No one feeds the cat. The cat is never allowed to play out side. etc
Absolutely and enjoy life where you are.

Absolutely

Reminds me of Sonu Singh!!!
Kitty power! You can bet Sonu Singh is teaching with the best of them!
Oh he is alright!!! 😊
I gathered that from reading your blogs featuring your beautiful kitty!
😀
Dougy’s “no box left behind” program. 🙂
LOL! Andy’s signed up for it, too!
They will amuse them selves with just about any thing Lilly loves to eat leaves, now why I’m not sure
As always Sheldon

We always make it fit, don’t we 😉 Pawkisses 🙂 <3
And how! One way or other. Of course — and this applies to you, too! — my cats aren’t fat, they’re just really fluffy!
Well said! ☺
Cats are smarter than people in this regard, so, naturally, purr more!

Dogs are wonderful, but they are more needy than cats. I love them both, but when Teddy is gone, I probably will not get another.
Andy isn’t needy, but Dougy can be tenacious about wanting me to give him attention!
They are all different, that is for certain.
I love my little guys for all of their quirks!

Awww… 🙁

And cute, too!
That’s right. Agree 100%
