Dougy came over to visit me after his midday nap.

“Hello!” Dougy announces he is available for scritching.
So I scratch him under the chin, of course, because that’s my usefulness in life!

Dougy remembers important kitty business he must do….

“Goodbye!”
Well, that was rude and short, Dougy! I even made room for you by my arm!
On the technical side of it, for some reason I couldn’t send photos from my smart phone to my computer yesterday, so I had to improvise with my webcam. I’m getting sick of these little computer/technology glitches!
Heck if I know where the photos went when the puny little screen noted “message sending” when I sent the photos into oblivion. They still are on the phone. I’ll try again today, though I am reminded of the saying “Insanity is trying the same thing over and over again, expecting a different result.” LOL!
=(^+^)=
Though I usually don’t pay a lot of attention to how many people follow this blog – the number fluctuates up and down practically each day – I can’t help but notice it is approaching 900 people. I want to thank each and everyone of you for stopping by!
Kommando Kitty and Super Snoops here – humans are also good for opening cans.
That’s the big value they have! Andy and Dougy agree!
Hello, I must be going
I cannot stay
I came to say
I must be going
I’m glad I came
But just the same
I must be going, la-la!

Groucho Must be Dougy’s Uncle.
~~dru~~
That made me laugh! I’m old enough to remember his television show and, of course, have seen all of the Marx Brothers movies on AMC many times!
I like how the kitties announce themselves “Ready for attention now!”
Andy just shows up and waits. Dougy hops in the way and meows a petulant meow, just once!
I don’t know if you like history but your sentence “Insanity is trying the same thing over and over again, expecting a different result.” would make a superb essay title about British tactics in World War One!
Yes, history is one of my passions! The statement about insanity isn’t original to me, though I’m not sure who originated it. We see it or variations of it quite a lot this political season here in America.
Good to know you know your true purpose is to cater to their every whim 🙂
They make sure I don’t forget it, either! LOL!
You can post rite from your phone
that’s what I do
Sheldon
I’ve done that, Sheldon, but, for reasons I can’t fathom, it doesn’t work today or yesterday. Most of the photos I’ve used recently in this blog are, in fact, from my phone.
Sometimes a new phone will have to do up dates all the time
it drives me crazy
Me, too! It seems there are always changes after these updates that wipe out features or settings you’ve just got how you like them.
Dougy is a quick cat : Good morning and good night in the minute !
Sorry Doug for your photos but you managed well with quickcam
In friendship
Michel
I used to make most of my videos and photos using the webcam, so am comfortable with the tool!
haha…Dougy just stopped by to say , “Hi dad.” and went on his merry way. You weren’t interesting enough so better things await a nosy kitty.
Jean
I guess not…. [He wipes tears from eyes…!)
