When I named Andy after an apostle, I should have named him after Thomas the doubter.
A prime example: he sees me with a mug and he expects me to let him examine it. It might be suitable for kitty boys!
“Sniff! Sniff!”
Come on, Andrew! My Oolong tea is getting cold!
Kitty boys still don’t like tea, Andy! (Poor kitty! He really hoped it was something he could enjoy.)
Maybe he was hoping there was warm milk or a dollup of whipped cream. Mom lets me have a tiny taste of whipped cream with her cocoa [but not the cocoa itself] some mornings.
I don’t give him milk in any form because he has a sensitive stomach.
It seems to be lost, but you made a comment about what handsome profiles Persian kitties have. Here’s a link to something else I noticed about Andy’s prog=file, and, I bet, your’s, too: http://www.mg.art.8m.com/egypt/EGYPT.HTM
Kitty boys aren’t the only ones who take a very long time deciding. Our Riley boy does too, until I get tired of waiting and had the treat to someone else.
There are times I wish I were Dr. Doolittle! (Of course, there are times it probably would be better to wish I weren’t! Andy can be a bit pissy sometimes…)
I love Oolong tea, but it’s almost impossible to buy locally unless I go to a Chinese restaurant (some of them sell boxes)
There is one brand available at local stores, but the magic Amazon prime opens a door to more sources. Of course, there are many on line tea and coffee sources. I especially like the Vahdam teas from India because they are very fresh and bright-flavored teas. Here’s some other attributes that make me pleased to purchase them (I don’t get paid to promote them, just promote them because I enjoy their Darjeeling and Oolong teas!): CARBON & PLASTIC NEUTRAL BRAND – Established in India by a 28-year-old 4th generation entrepreneur, we are now proud to be a certified Carbon-Neutral & a Plastic-Neutral brand. We measure our overall carbon and plastic footprint & offset it via our investments in environment sustainability initiatives in India.
ETHICAL, DIRECT & FAIR TRADE – Our innovative supply chain model ensures you get the freshest teas & our farmers get a better price for their produce. As a part of our social campaign TEAch Me, 1% of our revenue is redirected towards the education of our growers’ children.

Thanks! I will definitely look them up.
Ever alert ‘Just-in-case’ Andy! Hehe!
Nothing but the best for my kitty boy, even if he doesn’t get to share it with me. LOL!
That rings a bell, (Cyril) Doug.
Andy learned how to open the Greenies kitty treats container last night. He had a small feast and left the container open to taunt me…. lol!
Hehehe! Cunning Andy. Bet there was no guilty looks? Haha!
Aha, Cunning Andy. Hehehe!
Yet one more thing to kitty proof…
He’ll be disappointed. Hehehe!
Your lucky he doesn’t try to steal the spoon.
…yet!
Ha ha! The Prowlers always got to check out our mugs and they never like what’s in it either ! Have a great weekend!
I’m so used to it I automatically pass it over to Andy to establish i8t’s not for kitties.
Andy, I tried it…..it’s awful stuff. I always give whatever mom is drinking a suspicious glance now.
Shoko
Good for you, Shoko!
Our late great kitty, Jiffy, liked salty olives so much that he would roll on an emptied plate. We think he was part dog because the first thing he did upon entering the house was to run into the bathroom and take a long drink from the toilet. 🙂
LOL! Andy will lick the orange gung from Cheetos off my fingers if I let him, but I discourage it because of the high salt content.
A cat must always inspect whatever he human is eating or drinking. 🙂
Absolutely!
The change of facial expressions tells the story very clearly. Beba does the same with my coffee cup. She doesn’t remember from one day to another that she doesn’t like it.
Same here! LOL!
dood….we wood knot like tea either…trout soop for sure, but tea…noe thanx !!
Perhaps catnip tea would be acceptable.
Sure can’t blame him for trying. Someday he may find something in a mug he likes.
I wonder if cool catnip tea would be acceptable to my kitty boy….
The first comment asked my question, no go, aye! I’m not fond of tea either. But my morning coffee sure tastes dandy!
Morning coffee, then tea other times here for me…
Perhaps you should give him a little spoon of tea for a try, Doug ? 🙂
In friendship
Michel
I’ve done that, and he reacts the same!
same here… I have to show it that a tea is not their cup of tea every time LOL
LOL! Well, hope springs eternal from more than the human breast! (tell the pups “Good doggies!” for Andy and me!)
