He wastes a lot of them for the simple fact that his Persian “smooshed” face makes eating every bit of the pieces impossible or, at best, barely possible. He has to lick them up into his mouth rather than bite them to pick them up. Modern Persians have more heavily compressed muzzles than those of the 19th Century and early 20th, no thanks to fashions in breeding them.
Andy let you scritch him without darting away!
