The late Dougy sat in the recliner like a person.

Andy makes use of the foot pad for sleep, maintenance…

…and being a goofball.

Sometimes Andy just lounges there.

Andy (left) and Dougy sometimes shared the recliner.
=(^+^)=

The night after Thanksgiving, the 24th of November, we had a snowstorm that left around 2 inches/ ca. 8cm of soft, fluffy snow.
The frog and all the other decorations are about to be gone because my neighbor is moving. I will miss using the frog to gauge snow depth.

I went out early to mail a bill. The snow I carried in on my walker and feet quickly became Andy’s. He doesn’t want to go outside, but he always licks up the snow between doors!
Dear Dougy sitting like a person is adorable, and seeing them together is always a precious memory.
Yes, I was pleased Facebook brought those photo memories back!
😻
It’s nice to see the boys together, Doug. Stay warm!
Yes, it was! I’m staying inside as much as possible. I’m not a happy cold weather person.
That’s being safe and sensible, Doug. I did the same thing in Michigan while up north.
What adorable pictures and what a great display of smart feline use of the recliner! Sorry you’re losing a neighbor who brought such a cute frog decoration! Snow already, yikes! Well, we are already much colder than normal for this area. Brrr.
While it would be nice to get to use the recliner sometimes, the kitties were and are so cute on it! Yes, I’ll miss the frog grinning back at me when I open the door. It added a little smile each day. The neighbor is an old friend on top of it. I’ll miss having her as a neighbor. I think we got a bit colder than normal weather this week, too.
I love those photos of the kitties! I am surprised Dougy cat did ask for the TV remote! 🙂
A friend from New England just reported their first significant snowfall of the season, 6 to 7 inches. I am sorry you are losing the frog snow gauge and someone who sounds like a good neighbor, too. Be careful walking out there, Doug.
A clear night here last night, and it is 21 degrees and sparkling with heavy frost this morning. The cats have all sought window seats and are snoozing away. 🙂
I’m surprised he didn’t ask for the remote, too. LOL! Yes, I’ll miss the frog and my good friend neighbor, but she had an opportunity for a better place. The current place has a long ramp up to the front door. In weather like this, that ramp is a ski slope if it ices over! I had an opportunity to move into that unit some time back, but that ramp was a bigger concern than any benefits of a newer unit, cheaper rent. (I have two bathrooms, it has one….) zit got into the teens here at night, and not much higher during the day.
22 degrees and heavy frost at sunrise again today. It got up into the low 50s yesterday and will probably do the same again today.
Still cold here.
Tara does those Goofball poses all the time, too.
LOL! They get into such goofy positions! I never realized cats were so entertaining till I got them!
They look as if they are watching telly
They actually do watch it for a short time.
Dougy’s eyes are so different from Andy’s. The shape is almost sad, like he’s feeling deep sorrow. (Don’t worry, I know that this is all lies!)
Dougy had a more typical Persian face than Andy. Andy has aa blend of the narrower Birman face and the broad Persian. Their mother was Persian and their father was Birman. Dougy has beautiful copper-colored eyes and Andy has yellow. The faces and eyes were how I sorted out the two brothers.
