“The Stare”.

Though it looks like I edited the same photo to get the second and third stares, Andy sat motionless for a long time while I took three separate photos, then continued to stare for a while longer. I did add size to each successive photo on this page to emphasize the stare.
I know The Stare! I receive it on a daily basis, multiple times.

Dreamed last night – and believed Cyril was in the recliner purring away – broke my heart waking up. Every furry has its own traits, Andy has many, but those eyes… Grrreat!

I know how that goes. Andy and Dougy’s predecessor, the late. great Louie the ginger tabby, was a lover boy kitty. Though he was nearly 24 pounds of muscle, a huge cat, he imagined himself a lap kitty. He’d hop on my lap any time he walked by. I learned to always have a pillow on mu lap aftyer the first incident! LOL!

That they are! I guess we always gave the late Dougy the eye notice because they were that pretty orange color, but Andy has pretty eye, too.
Andy has that intense look! Sometimes the cats do that, and I tend to wonder what’s up.
I never figured out what had his attention.
I’ve always wondered why a cat will stop and stare like this. What are they looking at? Ghosts? Or, things that humans can’t see?
