A quick look behind the bed. No Andy.

Andy likes this window but he isn’t there, either.

This other guest bedroom window is cat-friendly, too. Andy may still remember this as a Dougy hangout! (The sofa shows Dougy’s been there, shredding the corner, which makes it a memorial to the wee rascal!)

Not on the cat tree that Andy and Dougy really, really, really loved to play on when they were kittens…!

I’d expect Andy to use the kitty lounger at least! Or that two-hole hidey hole thingy in the upper left. Dougy used to hide there on veterinarian visit day!

The far side of the bed is a place Andy hides sometimes. I sat down on the end of the bed to think where else to check. There, in darkness the photo doesn’t reproduce (and because I edited the photo to lighten it up) is this black lump.

Yes, the black lump is Andy, as you may already know if you looked closely at the top photo.
=(^+^)=

Here’s the top photo reposted to show you what the edited version looks like. Of course, it’s easy to see Andy when the photo’s lightened up.

With so many good spots for a kitty to sleep in the guest bedroom, including on the bed, there he is on the floor. Of course, there’s also that cubbyhole kitty cave in the new television stand that he hasn’t used for a few days in favor of the guest bedroom. I suppose the guest bedroom is favored because I rarely go in there!

The “dark lump” stopped by while I was doing this post to remind me kitties have meal times if I didn’t know.
Your commitment to your readers is commendable.
It’s fun to hear from my readers, too, and those contacts, through comments, helps feed that commitment! I’m sorry, though, I missed your comment that was posted April 8th on the 24th of April! I try to comment within a few hours of a comment being posted but somehow missed this one.
Cats seem to want to try out all possible sleeping and hiding places, then rotate through them randomly to keep the humans guessing.
How true!
Awe … Andy and you playing Hide and Go Seek is the cutest Easter hunt ever!
And no chocolate mess!
🙂 That would be here (lol)!
LOL!
He probably wondered why you didn’t see him right away. They have better eyesight than we do in dim light or darkness.
Such a sneaky kitty! I hope you had a nice Easter, Doug. 😊
It was good, if quiet! Thanks!
Me too which is good. 🙏🏻😊
It’s funny how cats like to nap in different spots all the time.
Yes, and usually anywhere but in the expensive cat bed we inevitably wonder why we bought for our kitty!
So true.
An Easter hunt with a difference
hadn’t thought about it that way, but yes!
I did see Andy in the first photo … but I’m used to looking for black cats in all kinds of lighting situations …
I missed him in fact but I was looking toward the wall, less on the floor since he ordinarily would move out of the way if he spotted me. There, it seems, he felt secure enough not to scoot!
