Andy greets me at the door and sniffs my hand.

After a “boop” to the nose and a face rub, Andy wanders over…

…to the walker I’ve set up by the door. It’s a nice day so the fresh air invigorates us both. The birds and other critters are just a side benefit for Andy!

Andy takes a little time to estimate his trajectory so he lands on the walker seat with a laudable graceful kitty landing instead of a splat. Kitty Pride, you know!

A perfectly executed landing! Andy enjoys the scene while I continue to take his photos.

Andy isn’t enjoying the paparazzi attention.

Maybe a glaring glance will end this nonsense!

Nope. The glaring glance is misinterpreted as “an invitation to pet the kitty,” absolutely not what Andy wants just now.

Good grief!

Not the head and ear rubs! Andy has no resistance to that combination!

Andy hops off the walker to divert my attention, but I try a ploy I think will get Andy’s attention.

Yeah, the “mousies in cabinet” game! Andy ignores the invitation.
Doug, Doug, Doug! You know that isn’t part of the routine at this hour!

With a fluff of his tail, Andy heads for his ‘nip stash.

Nom! Nom! Nom!

Andy loves his ‘nip, as you regular readers know.

Is this stuff even legal?! I ‘d say Andy’s out of it for a while.

I drove to Scottsbluff for an appointment to establish contact with a new pulmonologist.
It was a pleasant early morning drive, with light traffic even on Nebraska 26, the typically busiest section of the drive.
I arrived at 7:15 AM, plenty of time to sign in for my 7:45 appointment…that the receptionist told me had been canceled!!
Turns out the cancelation was so I could be rescheduled with a Dr. Patel, an actual pulmonologist as the initial appointment was with a Nurse Practioner. I guess they felt my medical history indicated a need to be with an actual pulmonologist since there are some on staff there again.
I rescheduled for Dr. Patel for August 14th.
I haven’t had a pulmonologist since Dr. Hong left Regional West. Fortunately, I’ve been in remission from WG/GPA for years now so it hasn’t been a worry.
Hope all goes well on the 14th, Doug. August isn’t that far off now. July has been going by at an alarming rate.
Yes, time does fly and August 14th is barely a month away as I type.
Doug
Nice of Andy to meet you at the door. Knowing exactly what he wants can be difficult sometimes.

Andy’s very particular about his agenda these days, but ‘nip seems to suit his every mood! Hopefully everything with Dr. Patel will go smoothly!
Yeah! The doctor business should go fine.
