Take a look at the right side of the picture, the television stand. After my niece assembled the stand, Andy took the lower cabinet in the photo as his personal cat cave. He then stopped using it after a few days. I closed it when it seemed apparent Andy was over using it, and it remained closed until last Friday.
Clever Andy opened it by himself and began using it again!

On this day in 2020, Andy’s littermate Dougy died. We miss Dougy. He’s the kitty boy on the left side in the photo at the top of this blog.
I posted numerous videos of Andy and Dougy on You Tube on my phainopepla95 channel, starting with their kitten days through their first five years. A video editor I used was discontinued, and all the alternative editors I looked at were excessively expensive. That ended most of my video making.
That’s great that he is using it, again.

Andy found himself a good hiding place there, and a good napping spot, too.
Dougy was a fun kitty, if a character. Yes, that’s a good spot for his naps. I might put a towel in there though he resists improvements.

Andy claimed it within minutes of the television stand being assembled and put in place! I didn’t realize it at the time, but I think he must have opened the door then, too. Andy is handy that way!
