19May25: kitties aren’t transparent…

I always enjoy Andy stopping by.
He looks so handsome there…
…but I see a brewing problem!
“Dang it, Andrew!”
Hint! Hint! Touching him might get him to move.
“ANDY!”
“Lower that tail, Andy!”
I finally get it across to Andy that he needs to stop blocking the closed captions on the television. At least he puts his tail down, whether that was on purpose or coincidental.
Andy doesn’t get it: kitties aren’t transparent!

  1. I suspect he knows, but ignores it, because he is interested in the program. Barmalei sits in front of the screen and will not move when there is an opera, musical, or symphony on the screen. I think they think that their enjoyment of the entertainment offered is more important than ours.

  2. Oh they get it! I was on the computer last night and two cats kept sticking they tail on the screen. Then one decided that the side was a good place to scratch. Then my screen went blank. I had to yell at them both to get off! (I hate doing that!)

    • Weimaraner tails are more transparent than Persian cat tails, so I guess you make up for it with strategic body blocks…!

  3. Oops, it’s very challenging to see around a kitty who parks in front of the TV. I’m kind of glad kitties aren’t transparent, though. Those transparent frogs that used to go around Facebook, they were a little freaky to look at!

    • Yeah. Ultimately I am glad to have the nuisance of the tail because it’s attached to one fantastic kitty boy@
