After several attempts to corral Andy into the north bathroom……only to have him escape into the south bedroom, potentially a harder place to catch him……this is where he was in the south bathroom! When I moved toward him, he hid behind the toilet.Of course, because he couldn’t see me, he didn’t realize his tail end was exposed to me.I snatched him from his toilet refuge……and wrapped him up to give him his medicine. He was not amused. Nor was I. I have to take a risky few steps from my front room to get to a walker I keep in the south bedroom for situations like this or to do housekeeping. I use a walking stick for those few steps, aware of the risk of a fall!Medicine delivered, I let Andy down.
I’d closed the door when I entered the south bathroom to catch Andy, blocking his escape.

I’m glad my apartment isn’t bigger or giving Andy more hiding places!

Look at him, all burritoed up!
I’ve tried it with and without bbudding. It definitely works better with bundling!

Be careful trying to catch Andy, Doug!
It’s good that you were able to medicate Andy, Doug!
I miss some days because he is clever….

I usually have bedroom doors closed when the hunt is on because of the difficulties both present that could result in a fall for me.

Got him in the end, Doug, well done. A adore the last shot of Andy, with his disgruntled face on, bless him.
A well earned “disgrunt!”

With I’d thought of that word, now, Doug. Haha!
Nice try, Andy! I so wish kitties could understand that meds are good for them.
I take mine without enthusiasm, too, but…

Such an effort – you are a good human
I try to be!
