Hmmm, Andy is spending his day alot like our younger kitties and usually, fairly active, cats are. None of the usual zoomies. Heat and the summer light maybe?
Andy’s had his zoomies later in the day. Though the apartment is air conditioned, I don’t turn it really low, so it is about average Hawaiian temperature inside – low 80’s. Andy has never been tbe most playful of cats. He likes to play by himself usually. Batting bottle caps around, string or ribbons, and phone charger cords – yikes! – are among the things he does find amusing.
So sweet when he is asleep!

I’ve noticed my girls a lot less active as it heats up.
My cats are less active in the heat, even with the AC on. It is 102 in the shade of the porch here this afternoon, and bone dry.
