Andy and I slept most of the late morning and afternoon away.At least I did – dialysis day naptime is inevitable.I was happy to see Andy again. The last time was in the bathroom when I just got home from the hospital. He was sleeping on the stool I dry off on after my showers.I rubbed his head and ears, I was so happy to see him! He was happy about that attention, too!Coming around to see me later in the day……Andy had to take a short kitty bath.He must have just got up himself. He had “sleep” in his eyes.

Andy and I slept through the preparation of a post for today. Here’s a repeat of Andy asleep. I haven’t figured out how to take my photo while sleeping, so I’ll skip that!

Andy finally stopped by.He wasn’t interested in treats. My guess was “the tail!” He enjoys a massage there. What else?Oh yeah! Basic petting works.Until he became interested in television. That was short!Thinking….Yes! Bath time for Andy! The foot. The chest is harder but Andy manages.Naptime under the warmth of the table lamp…a kitty’s delight!

…a “boop” in the dark….My father died before I became a kitty daddy. My mother “met” Louie the ginger kitty, though she thought he was a cheetah because of his size. She met Andy and Dougy when they were kittens. Dougy had to explore her room at the care center. If I hadn’t closed the door, he would have wandered everywhere in the building. He was an explorer kitty! Andy, on the other hand, wouldn’t have any of that. I took them to see my mother in a pet carrier that was a stroller. Andy chose to hop on top of that, and stay there till time to leave. That’s my parents in the photo in the photo. All this reminiscing tired Andy out!

Andy came by for Greenies.I brushed him while he tried to eat! This was an unacceptable complication! So he hopped over onto the recliner footrest, the easier to escape me.Clever kitty boy!

Yeah. The stare business.I ignore it till……he got tired of trying to get me to figure out why he was thete. But he just moved a few inches to be more obviously there, till……he decided he may as well be comfortable.

My car needed a good washing. There was a line ahead of me. This was the second one. My turn was next.I paid for the best one, which includes wax, shield, and other stuff.La! La! La! A long wait.Finally. Happily, I may have had to wait for two vehicles to go through, but there were three waiting for me to get through! It was a mild day that inspired a lot of us to get some of that gunk off our vehicles.

He’s back. I guess I better follow him and look out the door for the cat/bunny/whatever that’s not there now.

Andy actually has a Greenies limit. He’d just finished his morning wet food.He spotted the Greenies, but……he had to think a bit about eating any.He sniffed them.Erp!Next, after smelling and staring at the treats……he ate one before he ran off to watch the scene out the front door. With luck, he must have hoped see that calico or the cottontail. The Greenies will be there when his tummy is ready for them!

I did a little housekeeping in the front room. That pet vacuum definitely handles the shedded Persian hair, but it jams up inside the dirt canister opening. I unjammed it and learned that each use I should make sure the hair has gone down into the larger part of the cannister.

Andy especially enjoys……”scritches”……around……his……neck……and chest. He is less thrilled when……I stroke his sides and back. He runs off as soon as I pet him on his back and sides. How rude!

Andy’s upset. He doesn’t see Greenies on the lapboard.Could it be that’s so he’ll eat his wet kitty food instead of eating a bite or two, leaving it to fill up on Greenies instead?Could be, Andy.
=(^+^)=
I’d rather he not fill up on Greenies instead of his wet kitty food and the Persian dry. He did leave the laptop and head for the “real ” food I’d set out.
