“Do you want to watch a fun video, Andy?”
Andy checks it out – nope! Not interested!
Not interested in finishing his Greenies either.
Off he goes on important kitty business. I bet it’s watching birds out the front door or, maybe, from the north bathroom window where the yellow heirloom rosebush is.
Watching live birds is definitely more exciting than watching TV. My kitties confirm, unless there are too many parrots visiting from the Parrot Jungle nearby, and the noise is deafening.
Andy would love, love, love that!
Really? He would like this kind of incessant babbling?
At first, perhaps. I know your experience with parrots and that of a friend in Arizona makes me think it would get tiresome fairly fat.
Oh yes, to the point of a vicious headache.
A friend in Arizona with the same issue feels the same!
😻
What was the “Fun Video” about? Maybe he needed Cats or Birds in it.
It’s part of a YouTube series where Pakistani tribal people are given Western foods they are unfamiliar with and they each comment of their impressions of it. I guess it’s more to my interest than Andy’s. There’s lots to learn about their culture from how they respond to a meatloaf, for example.
I watch a lot of those, too.
They are charming fellows!
I get the sense that Andy is depressed. ☹️
Perhaps he preferred kitty entertainment then because he was very interested in kitty toys after I took the photos.
The sophisticated cat requires a wide variety of entertainment!
Yes…and it helps if it is kitty-specific, which my choice of entertainment proved not to be.
So will he come back and turn his nose up at the greenies?
Yes, most times. I try not to put out more than he’ll eat at one time for that reason.
Lots of times he wants fresh ones, though there is no difference from those on the lapboard and those in the Greenies container….
I think kitties can detect a single molecule of oxidation. 🙂
they do have highly sensitive noses, don’t they?!
I’d say bird watching is pretty good bet as serious kitty business. It’s so important that cats even have a separate language for it!
Yes, a sort chattering!
