Andy likes the insurance commercial where the fellow pours cat litter in front of the car tire to help get it unstuck. You know the one. The car drives off, then dozens of cats run to the snow-covered scene, attracted to the cat litter! Yeah, Andy likes that commercial, at about the 17 second mark to the end:
But Andy really liked this video, which I watched yesterday:
Andy found that video irresistible, probably because the kitten is having naughty fun! I noticed his interest, decided I’d replay it for him so I could try to capture his reaction on video. Here’s the result:
I left the rest of Andy’s story to the imagination, but had a comment today on facebook asking about what Andy ran off to do. Well…! He ran off to take a nap!
Unfortunately, I woke him up when I snapped the photo. Sorry for the soft focus, well, unfocused image. I’d turned off the flash earlier, which meant when I snapped a picture, the camera calculated an exposure time on a dark subject – Andy in shadow – that was longer than I could hold the camera steady! I like it anyway.

If you enjoyed the video of the kitten mauling the curtain, you need to check out the other videos Igor posts twice weekly of the family Scottish Fold cats and kittens. Here’s the link to his YouTube channel:

I sat here by myself laughing out loud [hope no one was spying on me]. Funny kitten, but Dougy has the life!
PS> OOPS! Forgot Andy – unforgivable!
Well, they are brothers, both look a lot alike, and you’ve never seen them in person…! Forgiven! LOL! 😉
I pick up on behavior and vocal clues most often since the are so similar, though physical differences become more obvious the longer you are around them.
Even then, I sometimes call them by the wrong name. Fortunately, they ignore their names anyway! My cats are not very well-trained.
But Soooo lovable!
I’m happy I agreed to take these two when they were kittens. Many times, there is a “burn in” phase when two cats are introduced to each other, but these guys shared a papa and a mama. I get lots of laughs out of them, and can forgive their bad habits more or less since they are rare. Thanks to movies like “Cats and Dogs” and “Stuart Little”, Persians are painted as mean and villainous, when, in fact, they are very mild, sweet-dispositioned cats. Walt Disney slandered Siamese in “Lady and the Tramp”, too, and cat variety that is very sweet (if talkative!)!
So cute! Andy has good taste in commercials 🙂
Thanks! Dougy likes that one, too. There’s a cat food commercial with a beautiful white Persian that Andy seems to find interesting, too.
Loved this. I know Andy was thinking about being naughty but even when his horns are up he is absolutely adorable.
Exactly! The first time I noticed the boys have “horns”, I had to laugh. I think it’s cute, even though it often signals naughty behavior (if not terrible) ahead.
