  1. HELLO THERE…I FINALLY MANAGED TO GET HERE AND COMMENT,NOT TOO WELL WITH THROAT/CHEST PROBLEMS AT THE MOE BUT HAD TO TRY AND COMMENT ON THIS ONE …OH YES OUR BRAVE FELINE FRIENDS,AND YOU ARE RIGHT NOT MANY PEOPLE KNOW HOW THEY HELPED DURING THE WAR,AS IT IS THE HORSES/DOGS WHICH WERE MAINLY HIGHLIGHTED,I FOUND THIS VERY INTERESTING AND ALSO SAD BUT IT IS A PIECE OF HISTORY WHICH SHOULD NOT BE OVERLOOKED………..LONG LIVE OUR FELINE FRIENDS…XX

    • I FOUND THIS AMONG OTHER BLOGS I FOLLOW AND FELT IT DESERVED WIDER DISTRIBUTION. I’D NEVER GIVEN THOUGHT TO THE VALUE OF A CAT OR TOO ON A SHIP, FOR EXAMPLE, BUT IT MAKES PERFECT SENSE WHEN YOU REALIZE THE DAMAGE RATS DO TO ROPES, FOOD STORES, CREW HEALTH, ETC.!
