I found Andy mouthing and licking the television channel reference. How did he figure out where I kept it?!

“Whatcha doin’, Andy?!”

“Are you a bad boy?”
I think I got my answer….!

He probably just wanted to find out how to access Animal Planet and National Geographic for when you’re out of the house and he’s bored.
Actually, that makes perfect sense! 🙂
He looks like a good boy! 🙂
In an hour, I have to catch him and his brother to take them to the groomers. Always a challenge. Ask me if he’s a good boy after that! (The first cat is easy. The second one knows something’s up, and becomes cat from hell to catch!)
(He’s watching birds out the window by my computer right now, but I bet he senses impending capture and hides before it’s over. I’m trying not to give them cues, like me taking a shower and putting on “going out” clothes, though it’d be nice to do that!)
I agree with GPCOX, the boys are never bad :), how could they, they look too cute.
I guess no one ever saw “Cats and Dogs”, “Stewart Little”, or the Austen Powers movies: Persian cats are villainous! Cute but villainous! 🙁 🙁
No, never saw those movies, maybe should keep it that way…
I’d say so. The slander Persian cats, suggesting they are nasty-dispositioned despots. Everyone knows they only are despots! LOL! 🙂
Don’t show the boys this…
They’d probably cry soft kitty tears to see such awful things implied about their kind! They are ,ultimately, very sensitive creatures!
Oh, I bet they would.
Andy’s crying right now. He thought he felt naughty thoughts from others, and his feelings were hurt…! Poor kitty! I need to go an reassure him!
Poor Andy, give him some warm hugs from us, A. and Ms. Z.
He pretends he doesn’t like it, but he likes to be held cradled in my arm, tummy up. I then stroke his chest, and he relaxes, closes his eyes in bliss. (“But I don’t really like that,” he protests! “Not one bit!”)
Wonderful bliss, how nice to be able to create that. Wishing you and the boys a happy Saturday!
I like doing this for Andy because he’s such a seriuous little kitty. Dougy is much moire playful. Andy is very reserved. Since I’m committed to making the best life possible for both my boys — lots of empty boxes, BirBug toys, fresh-grown catnip, cat grass, kitty treats, lots of potential hiding spots strewn around the place, etc. — anything I can do for Andy helps even up the love and attention I give my boys. The tummy rub is Andy and my time together! (Dougy doesn’t like being held on his back.)
Too much TV only makes you stupid and lazy.
All work and no play makes you stupider…! (Good point about television, though! 🙁 ) I recently read it results in more health issues related to inactivity, so there is more truth to that than not!
He’s not bad, just a little naughty. His cuteness compensates for it though.
Sorry about missing your comment yesterday! I don’t like the way this particular format handles them because it’s easy to miss comments when a lot come in. Anyway, most of the time, Andy’s actually pretty good. When he is naughty, it isn’t mean naughty so much as acting up naughty. (Unless he’s having a spat with his brother, then he is tough mean naughty. DOugy should know that by now!)
He is protecting you from the lethal radiation of television screens by destruction of th reference guide 😉 it’s all in your best interest! 😀
So that is what he was trying to tell me when I called him a bad boy! Aw! I’m a monster!
Haha don’t worry. He will forgive you! 🙂
Forgive me? No, he’ll blame me for leaving temptation around for a poor little kitty to find!
LOL! Ok that sounds like Oli haha. Last time I left a bit of plastic out and he chewed it up he was like it’s your fault!!! XD
Ugh! Plastic! Andy also is notorious for trying to eat wrappers off of granola bars and candy, not to forget the wrappings off of new DVDs. I have to place that sort of trash in sealed containers or risk him actually eating this stuff. I have taken this type of trash out of his mouth. The prospect of surgery to remove this from his system if he actually got it down helps keep me focused on my responsibility toward him. Doug, on the other hand, had as his form of pica this thing about eating cat hair shedded and on the carpet. When I brush him, I have to handle the combed out hair the same way I handle plastic with Andy, and place it in a sealed container. It’s reduced the number of hairballs I step in and have to clean up (urp!!!), so the extra vigilance is well worth it!
Interesting. Oliver eats both plastic and cat hair of the carpet lol. Luckily plastic we keep away. He has managed to chew up bags tho 🙁 I bet it’s he fish oil in cheap carrier bags – luckily digestible in the UK btw! So unless they swallow a whole one a tiny bit doesn’t lead to catastrophes
Oh, and they both chew paper. Yes, so many good things to chew!
XD. Chewy monsters you have haha
Nom~nom~nom for sure!
The look on the second photograph is saying, “why do you want to know!” Oh I know that look.
Yes, that’s exactly how it is! He was offended I interrupted his naughtiness.
Tch Tch… of course, Andy would be offended for being interrupted. After all he is doing major research, and you are not allowing him to concentrate. (LOL)
If he can tell me the channel numbers when I need them, I’ll accept that explanation…! LOL! 🙁
Hims not a bad boy. Him was trying to recycle.
Recycle naughtiness, if you ask me!
Laughing. You should have named him Tom Sawyer.
Yeah, then I could send him up the river for his misdeeds! 😐
But cats don’t care much for water…at lease the majority of them.
Mine actually are pretty good about drinking water. I provide filtered fountain water for them.
George isn’t excited about water so I give him canned food (wellness) with a few drops of water added with some apple vinegar cider (raw). He hasn’t had a uti since.
That’s the boy’s brand of wet food, too. The water trick is a good one to keep in mind. One never know when one will need to know such things, eh?! Thanks!
Andy bad? Never!! They say it was you licking the guide and blaming them.
I see some enabling going on here today. If Andy continues to be a bad boy, I’ll have to think it has something to do with everyone defending him today in the comments! 🙂
Aww who can resist that face. It is all Dougy fault,
It very well could be Dougy’s fault! “Good” sometimes means “just didn’t get caught in the deed”! 🙁
The boys are never bad – just curious and frisky!
I bet they paid you to say that, GP! Or gave you big kitten eyes…!
The eyes are all I need, Doug!
I know they work on me! (I mean, when you look at my naughty kitty in these three photos, the first thought isn’t “Oh, what a bad boy!” but “I need to get my camera and take photos….look at those eyes! Oooooh!” LOL!
