Things are slow around here today. Doug (the human one) vacuumed half the carpeted part of the place, but thinks he’ll wait till tomorrow to finish the part of the front room left. Yeah, he could do it now and be done with it. Yeah.
On the other hand, Dougy has a better idea. He’s relaxing on the settee, doing his cat thing.
Yes, Andy won’t use the tub, but Dougy will…and does!

I have to agree! Dougy always looks so self-satisfied when he perches in his tubs or boxes. It makes him very happy to have such places.

Apparently! I installed a camera to spy on the two from my lunch break. And I spotted Ms I need to be lifted on top of the tree jump up in one go from the bottom to the top despite her three paws! Going to play that back to me demanding tonight haha 😉
I’ve often thought I should install a camera to spy on my boys. They go into the guest bedroom and disappear for hours. What are they doing? (Today, I found a dried out hairball on the carpet and one cat on the bed taking a spit bath. The other cat was skulking behind furniture…!)
That’s exactly why I got one haha!

Actually for Oliver it’s worse! Nap from 9am until 11. Out for a lunch snack. Back to his cave at 12 until 6pm!!! And he sleeps with me every night too. That’s what 90% of the day napping? LOL
He fits perfectly.

Cats seem to like little round baskets, pans, etc…
The tub is perfectly shaped and sized for Dougy. Andy fits nicely in them, too, but has his own sleeping preference of sleeping on top of the blue carrier on top of the settee.
WHAT??? Vacuum Cleaner’s horrid brother lives at YOUR HOUSE??? Incredible! Mom went out and bought his equally nasty cousin, “Dust Buster”, yesterday. (shakes head) I work so hard to shed that dog hair! Woof! (Kitty looks comfy, btw).
Andy and Dougy are very brave (if scarce) when I run the vacuum. It isn’t as noisy as some are.
I would not think being a pet was so bad people do some really weird stuff to you know besides how better can it get if your Fed and care for,that to me is the kind of life I would want hair balls and all

hahaha…The paws that refreshes! If, you were born a cat, as I was,you wouldn’t know the difference about having/not having fur in the mouth. Personally, I can’t understand wearing yucking clothing and not having a fur…Its much more comfortable and it never wears out.

That will never happen. He’s a one woman cat. He will tolerate a certain amount of petting, but it is just for courtesy. As long as he can get to his litter box, he is fine.
You wouldn’t notice much difference then, though the boys are getting to be a bit more tolerant of being held. They both enjoy petting, however.

Yes, we all enjoyed the day immensely. Andy slipped off into the guest bedroom, where he’s been snoozing all day.

I was just thinking I’d like to be a cat, but then I thought “What about all that hair in the mouth after grooming?” So, maybe I’d be a really dirty cat,

I’m with you, though, I’d not be too thrilled with all that hair in my mouth. The boys’ tail hair is really long and straight. They both have a challenge to run that through their cleaning process!
