I think it’s worth it – but maybe he doesn’t like his fur cut…?
It’s the trip to and from the groomers in the carrier he hates. As noted, he likes to explore, and being confined that way is a terrible affront to his sensibilities. He’s fine once he’s outside the carrier. In fact, he is very cooperative!

It’s high maintenance compared with the shorter cut. I think they actually like the shorter hair.

As you can tell from the photo at the top of my blog, which is a “Print Screen” save from a video of the boys when they were still kittens of about three months of age, they were cute little rascals from the start! I think it’s even more obvious why I agreed to take both kittens when you watch the kitten videos (phainopepla95 is my YouTube channel)
If Oscar the Grouch were a cat, he would look like Dougy. 🙂
That Persian face hides a sweet disposition and a sunny nature! Andy, similarly, always looks a little sad, though he’s also just Persian.

No problem! I think movies tend to portray Persian kitties as villains (remember “Stuart Little”?) because they look mean.If you are around them, however, you realize how sweet they are compared with other cats.
