One of the two blogger friends who helped me a lot during my hospitalization and rehabilitation last year, Liz McManus, finally got her book telling the story of Maggie the shelter dog published, and it is available through amazon.com .
You may remember Maggie, a beautiful, all white sweetie. anyway, here’s a link to Liz’s blog, with more information on the book. I’ve ordered mine copy already!

Reblogged this on Under Construction ….
Liz will appreciate it, I’m sure! I have my copy now, but it joins my big “to read” pile. Of course, I’ve followed Maggie on her blog for a long time so the story is familiar.
Great! I knew she had heart the first time I read her post.
A very nice person!
Maggie is a beautiful dog. Glad she got a forever home!
Me, too. She has a gentle spirit and intends to be a good girl even when she accidentally isn’t. Fortunately, she found a forgiving, loving family that have done everything they can to help her succeed, and that isn’t something everyone would do.
I am sure Liz ‘s book will receive a great success : the topic is so sensitive .
In friendship

I hope so, too!
Awwwww
She had a long stay in a shelter, and it was a challenge to get her calmed down enough to live in a family home. Liz and her family, however, did what they could to get the job done. Maggie showed she was worth the effort! (Of course, she is a beautiful dog, too! Every time I see her photo, I wish I could give her a good “scritching” and some encouraging “good girls”, because she is!)
What a great story…thanks for sharing.
I like any story about how someone took a chance on a shelter pup or kitty and it proved to be life changing for both.
Me too. Heart warming.
I want to read this.
I’m sure Liz would be vey appreciative!
Thanks, Doug! It is a kid’s book, but adults do like the stories, too. Thank you so much!
Some of the best books I’ve read were written for children. I used to read children’s books before I bought them to give kids in the family as gifts. If I enjoyed it, well….!
lol Woof!
Thank you for an interesting link.
You’re welcome! Maggie is a good dog with a tough history, and I look forward to reading the book. I’ve followed her blog for as long as it’s been on the web (I think), so am familiar with a lot of her story.
Yeah for Maggie and her book! At some point that is our goal with Benji too.
It’s something I look forward to!
It may be a while :). BTW, yesterday I posted a new beach video of Benji as a puppy. Next week more.
