The kitty boys have been playing that game they made up where Andy yowls kitty insults at his brother, and Dougy comes running. Then they chase each other all over the apartment till they are bushed.
This time, Dougy stopped before Andy was through playing, and Andy climbed the screen on the window behind the computer desk, leaped over the recliner, and chased air into the guest bedroom.
Andy ran back into the frontroom, leaped onto the recliner, and this is the look in his eyes:
Whew! Now to take a nap!
Wow – I’ve seen those wide-eyed crazy cat stares from our crew, especially from Lucio and Nano. We have to be careful not to get run over! Your boys have beautiful eyes. I can see the gold in Andy’s eye’s there.
Yes, they definitely get wild eye when they get their kitties on! Andy has pretty eyes, but Dougy have orangey-brown eyes that are b=very pretty, too.
Finally, Andy “saved” his recliner after this “battle” almost alone . I wonder where Dougy was at this time ? ?
In friendship
Michel
Probably Dougy already was sleeping on his Ottoman ! 🙂
Ha! Ha! You got that right, Michel!
You guessed it correctly.
Sounds similar to the game Joanie and Sammy play. He mews like a kitten is distress and she comes to his aid and he pounces- she falls for it every time.
It does sound like the same game! Andy moves the multi-colored fabric stip to the starting point, drops it, then begins the yowl that brings Dougy running. That seems to be the main difference. Of course, you have a girl-boy game and I have a boy-boy game, so they have to initiate it the way they think will best get the “victim” to come running. Interesting! I wonder who else sees this game being played by their cats?
Way to go Andy…you’ll sleep like a bomb….trust me I know these things.
Shoko
And he did, Shoko! Other than climbing the screen, I think it’s good for him (and Dougy) to have these bursts of activity. They are the right weight for kitties their age, for example (per their veterinarian), which is more than my doctor can say about me!
Owl eyes !
Ha! Ha! For sure! Adrenalin does that to cats. Of course, Persian kitties have an owl-like facial look to start with.
So cute!
Anything that gets the kitty boys running and interacting with each other is good, and I find it cute, too. (Or the kitty boys as they are.)
It’s funny when cats get wound up like that.
I think so, too! It’s good for them to get it out of their system, though, because, as you know, they tend to sleep soundly afterwards!
I woke up this morning to several things knocked off various tables and counters. Someone was wound up last night.
LOL! I’m sure it was accidental! At least, if Andy and Dougy do it, it is. The only thing Andy knocks off shelves is pens if you put them in front of him. Dougy doesn’t do anything like that.
I’m sure one cat was chasing another around the house. Usually one chases one way and then the other chases the other way.
Exactly the same plan here!
wow that’s impressing… no circus artist can do such fabulous things like you, Andy… I wish I would be a cat too…
He is impressive when he’s wound up!
