Michel, I wonder why I spent even a dollar on cat toys in past when a fly swatter, and newspaper on the floor, a walmut, a bottle cap, a toilet paper tube, a box, or a wadded up piece of paper can be hours of entertainment for a cat!@
The best toys are generally made from things readily at hand. 🙂
