Of course, Andy starts his day…
…with a kitty bath!
Quiet time. Andy makes a plan: Bug Doug for treats or bug Doug for kitty food?
…or play with bottle caps? It isn’t easy being Andy. He settles for Greenies treats, but first…
…Andy’s horns pop up when he hears a strange sound outside!
The Greenies can wait. Andy’s all tuckered out…too much excitement!
Great close-up with Andy’s “horns” up. Who needs a guard dog when you have the best guard cat, Doug!
There is something to that, Dolly. I have hearing loss, so sometimes he is doing just that.
Interesting point; I thought I was joking, but somehow I guessed at the truth.
Yes, when his little ears perk up and he stops moving, I know to check things out. Of course, when that happens, Andy becoming alert, his “horns” pop up, too. LOL!
What a clever kitty boy!
Mr. Snoopy. I used to propose this about Dougy::
Snoopy is a dog.
Dougy is snoopy.
Therefore Dougy is a dog.
(A joke based on a non sequitur, of course, but it applies to Andy, too. )
Ha! A logical sequence found on the bathroom wall at Oxford read: “All women are fish, all fish are lesbian, therefore all women are lesbian.” It it attributed to Sir Mick Jagger (I find the Sir hilarious), but he has never admitted authorship. Any way it’s not politically correct nowadays, but this one is: “Only a madman or an actor would want to be President of the United States.”
Yes!
Built-in intruder alarm – wow!
He earns his Greenies, Dolly!
Sure, and works hard for them.
LOL!
I guess he didn’t think it was worth his effort at that purrticular time
Too much thinking time, I suspect, means giving in to sleep.
With Egyptian style grace, he does sit,
Thinking of nibbles or scritches a bit?
But aloofness and his lovely face is a hit,
Hope he’s happy, he’s looking fit!
TTFN
Yes, Andy’s in good form!
Good, great!
I always love Andy’s tongue! so pink !!
I like also your story, Doug.
In friendship
Michel
Thanks, Michel! I try to present a little picture story when Andy gives me something to turn into one.
Andy is one sweet kitty, Doug!
Since his brother died, Andy has blossomed. I think I missed out on a lot of his personality because Dougy had such a dominant one.
I’ve seen that happen here.
I appreciate that confirmation of what seems to have happened. I like Andy’s new confidence!
I even had guinea pigs that exhibited that. I remember one pair of them The older one would grab a wood shaving in her teeth and whistle while waving the chip around when she wanted attention. The other sat silent. When the older one died, the younger guinea pig took up the habit.
