“NO! Don’t touch me! I’m a great, BIG bone-crunching, blood-lapping carnivore!”
“I warn you! I’ll chew your arm off!”
[Purr! Purr!]
=(^+^)=
The late Dougy resisted affection, too, but all was well once I “scritched” his chin, rubbed his head, or stroked his back.
I like getting scritches on my tummy. Does Andy go for that, too, and did Dougy?
If I’m very, very, very, verrrrrrreee careful, he tolerates a bit of it. Veeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeee careful.
Looks like you tamed the “beast”. Great job. Glad you did.
One never knows if there will be success. LOL!
Love his face, and the “horns” are up, too! And dear Dougy with those beautiful eyes!
Yes, the horns are up and I always think that is so cute! Of course, it also alerts me to his increased interest in whatever is on his mind. I do like the Facebook practice of bringing back memories, which in my case usually means old photos. As you know, that means I’ve been able to post old Dougy photos from time to time
I know and appreciate it, as do all your fans, I am sure.
It can be both ways, though. I think he heard clatter in the trainyard, which sometimes can be heard where I live.
Perhaps, but the horns still look adorable.
I didn’t know much about kitty dynamics before I got Andfy and Dougy, and wasn’t around long haired kitties enough to observe the phenomenon of “kitty horns”! I think they are tremendously amusing and cute, and they alert you to something the kitty suddenly found interesting.
Yes, and you managed to capture it so well.
Thanks! I try to get a little story out of all the photos Andy must endure me to take, and sometimes it works out just so!
And I get an impression that Andy likes to pose for pictures, rather than endure the process (when he wants to, of course).
I wonder, Dolly. He oftentimes looks directly into the smartphone when I try to photograph him, almost like he is posing!
That’s what I thought, looking at those incredibly expressive close-ups. And he knows he is adorable!
He plays that quality on me to the maximum, topo, as I’m sure you know from personal experience with your adorables!
LOL Sure do, but I am not easily manipulated. My husband is, though. Do you think it’s my training and experience with special needs children, or men are generally more susceptible to manipulation than women?
Look at those mob people that trashed the US Capitol. Virtually all were men, with few women.
Very true. Historically, very few women were warriors, with the exception of amazons, of course .I am not mentioning individuals, such as queens, tsarinas, and rare heroines like Jeanne d’Arc.
Yes.
Close or open Andy has beautiful and expressive eye, Doug !
In friendship
michel
Yes, he does have expressive eyes!
Nice pictures of Andy, and Dougy with those gorgeous orange eyes!
Yes, the orange eyes were Dougy’s best feature, I thought. Andy gave me some good photos today!
