Andy likes to go black & white when he critiques a black & white film. It’s a kitty boy thing.
Is this going to be a “deep” philosophical film? There’s a question right on.
Silly dialogue! And who’s “Roger”?
Good grief! What’s “Sam” got to do with it?
[At this point I had to remove Andy from the room because of the barfing sounds….]
I know who that is with the metal hat on,thats Huntz Hall! Thats a Bowery Boys movie!
Great choice!
It was a monster film. I felt the Bowery Boys franchise had added one film too many after watching a short part of this one!
just as long as Andy gave it two paws up!
It was more like one paw. He really felt it, um, stunk!
sounds more like the straight up tail walking away to me!
Ya,they really milked it didn’t they~ It became for formulaic than creative.
Exactly.
Well made bit of Andy-based entertainment there, Doug. Cheers!
Thanks! Andy often shows interest in what’s on television. Dougy ignored it mostly. Regardless, I am amazed at the expressions that pop up in the photos that I didn’t notice till I opened up the photo files.
I tend to see all films in black and white. I prefer it. Is that Red Skeleten in there with the others? Mom watched a DVD of his TV show. Mom says he was really funny.
Shoko
No, he wasn’t in that particular movie. I thought he was hilarious, too. There’s one with him and Lucille Ball before she moved from being just another extraordinarily pretty actress to being the funniest person on television. Did you ever see this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Du_Barry_Was_a_Lady_(film)
Andy has his preferences for film. He might like “The Cat From Outer Space” 🙂

Interesting! It has a strong cast and it IS Disney…!
Andy looks interested by the movie but he checks also if you watched seriously too ! 🙂

Obviously, Andy likes a high quality French film (so he can block the captions!) like “Tous les Matins du Mond”, with Gérard Depardieu before he became a Russian and with excellent Baroque music.
Obviously, his tastes are too refined to this type of thing. 🙂
Good thing, too, or he’d be whining for me to watch this twaddle!!
Great post, Doug. As you probably know, I just love B&W photographs… Well, maybe not if there’s some coffee pudding! 😉
Sometimes, black & white works better than color, and this was one time I thought the black & white looked better than the color.
I take it he didn’t like the film? Will that be a green splat on Rotten Tomatoes?
Apparently the Bowery Boys’ films after they grew up aren’t to Andy’s taste…. (it was pretty bad. I changed the channel to the news.)
If I asked Andy to sum up this film in one emoji, I guess it would be this: 🤮?
Exactly!
