Andy gives up on watching the birds, then a big juicy American robin stops by the bird bath.
Cleaning up!
I eventually learned boxes a nd cats go well together!
Twenty minutes at the back door, both Andy and Dougy eventually spend door time.

I like your videos . So many memories .
I heard also with pleasure your laugh, Doug! 🙂
Michel
Thank you, Michel! They have been a comfort to me this past year since Dougy died.
Love the videos! That’s some serious bird study, and box occupancy!
My kitty boys come by it naturally since I am a past vice president of Nebraska Ornithologists’ Union…. LOL!
These are sweet videos of the boys, Doug! I should put up a birdbath here. Right now it is the hummingbirds in the trumpet vine and tree swallows swooping around catching bugs that have their interest.
Thanks, Lavinia! Water definitely is appealing to the birds.
Andy is like me photographing birds – I always give up 🙂
LOL! Photographing birds is a tricky business, though setting up a blind (even in you backyard!) near where they come around is one way to get good shots. I suspect you will get those shots you want some day, given your skill as a photographer!
🙂
wow that was either big berd from sesame street or THE rockin’ robin from that song ;O)
Yep! Big Bird, for sure!
