When Andy hops up on the cat tree by the north bedroom, I know he’s invited me to give him a vigorous “scritching”.
He anticipates a good time!
Yeah! He tosses back his head and ears, purring in ecstasy over the attention and just how good the “scritching” feels.
When Andy’s ready to move on, he turns from facing north to facing south. Enough of this treat!
Let’s face it Doug, your Andy is highly scritchable. I’m not jealous, oh no… Well… Hehehe!
It is pleasant to do, too, so Andy sometimes gets too much of a good thing. He lets me know when he’s reached that point, though. Ouch!
I can understand that, Doug. Cyril was the same. Hehe!
Andy looks very contented. Yes, they do let us know when they have had enough! ๐
Andy puts his paw on me to let me know when to quit.
Wow! He has you trained. ๐
A sad fact….!
There’s nothing like a good scritch!
Andy agrees with that. As Mrs. Slocum would say, “…and I am unanimous on that!”
That cute little face! โค๏ธ
Andy has truly an attitude and a behavior, ecstatic! ๐
In friendship

From your previous comments I see that he has persuasive claw power luring if needed, but like a true diplomat avoids using it…good human, good human. I get a similar routine from Xenia.
They train us well…or try to. Poor Andy has tried for years to get it across to me when to stop whatever I am doing with him.
he has his rules … so you better follow them ;O)
I never learn…!
Watch out were the โscritchingโ goes & don’t ya eat that yellow snow …’Zappa’
Good advice@
Looking so cute.
He was born to be cute, I think!
It is good that you read his body language
Of course, reading it, I ignore it. Andy rewards me with paw taps that have increasing levels of claw extension….
