The trap’s set! Now the wait.

What! What! What! I sense success!

Did I speak (out loud) too soon?

No. The kitty fell for it!

I feel failure coming on…
…and the bait’s been ravaged. I bet the kitty comes back to take more bait….

Andy came back briefly to get “scritched”, then run like heck in a “zoomies” episode.
=(^+^)=

I love berry season! This is one of the ways I enjoy them.
I lucked out here, I see. Until I saw the photo, I didn’t notice how precariously perched my plate was. Whew!
Sounds like the bait activated the Andy’s zoomie circuit. 🙂
Fresh strawberries sound good in any form! Enjoy them, Doug! Blueberry season coming up, and cherries.
We’ve had them bot in the stores, but I’m sure those fresh-picked at Salmon Brooks Farms are tons more superior! The berries are what I enjoyed about visiting coastal California, just a short distance south of Brookings, OR.
The birds stripped one cherry tree up front completely. I hope they leave us some berries. 🙂
I tried the netting business with an apple tree and a planting of grapes. It is almost better to just let the critters have their share, even if it is the whole crop! I’ve often wondered how people farming sunflowers, or grape growers hoping to make wine ever get enough product past the birds to make any money!
Creepy SpongeBob in the background! Oh my God. (And can you believe autocorrect capitalises the B in SpongeBob? See, it did it again!)
SpongeBob haunts that corner, for sure!
SpongeBob would have eaten the bait if he could
LOL!
