His eye is on the target and he ignores the hand.

Hmm, at first I wondered if that’s a feline trait meant to ensure hunting success … Once food is sensed, the feline senses are focused and no long react to any distractions. Then I thought, well, I’ve had cats push against my hand as I petted them, and start to purr, while keeping their muzzles sunk into food bowls … Each cat does have his or her own ways, though …
