15Mar25: Andy’s day at the animal clinic…

Dr.Dye arrived early. So did Andy and I.
After familiarizing herself with Andy, Dr. Dye did an echocardiogram on Andy.
Getting ready for a more in-depth evaluation of Andy from head to toe.
Wiping Andy down after the ultrasound.
After a short time waiting for the next tests, Andy got to spend a little time in his cartie4.
Andy’s doctor, Dr. Olejnik, was there to follow the testing and to consult with Dr. Dye, too.
After helping put Dr. Dye’s things up, Dr. Olejnik was ready to check Andy, too.
Andy was happy the day at the animal clinic was just about over!

=(^+^)=

Andy gets to get off the hyperthyroidism medication but will continue the heart medication. No new serious conditions were detected, though the old murmur condition needs to be evaluated from time to time. I made an appointment for a follow-up on the 28th of this month.

Yes, Andy was a very good kitty!

    • That one medication was miserable to track because not only was it every other day, I had to alternate ears I put it in
I had to make a guide to make sure I got it right!

It was a long day for both of us and we both had long naps after lunch.

    • Yes, it looked like it might be doing too well, the reason it was stopped to see if it corrected the problem. He has another appointment on the 28th.

    • We get about two weeks off from all of his appointments, then I have one of my own with my pulmonolgist in a month. It’s just a follow-up.
