Andy gets to get off the hyperthyroidism medication but will continue the heart medication. No new serious conditions were detected, though the old murmur condition needs to be evaluated from time to time. I made an appointment for a follow-up on the 28th of this month.
Andy is such a good boy at the vets. Glad you had good news.

Poor Andy, that sounds like a long day. Hope he got lots of rest when he got home. Thankful he is able to stop one medication.
That one medication was miserable to track because not only was it every other day, I had to alternate ears I put it in
I had to make a guide to make sure I got it right!
It was a long day for both of us and we both had long naps after lunch.
I am glad Andy got to be off the thyroid medication – one less is easier for you, too!

Did they shave him for the ultrasound? My Mollie got one years ago and she was really annoyed with me all day.
Yes, they cut the hair with an electric hair cutter. They cut it close but didn’t use a razor.

He did really well. I was concerned the long time fasting would make him cranky, but he must have slept most of it.

We get about two weeks off from all of his appointments, then I have one of my own with my pulmonolgist in a month. It’s just a follow-up.
