Post 898: some posters from favorite photos…

I found fakeposters.com some time ago. It allows anyone with digital image files to make “posters”.

Over the years, I’ve made a few, some of which you’ve probably seen if you’ve followed my blog for very long, and others you may never have seen. I hope you enjoy them!

You've seen this photo of Dougy. It's my all time favorite of him!

I have no shame: I recycled this image I earlier characterized as a “FAIL”…. This is Andy again.

Dougy never is innocent. Believe me!

Could Andy be cuter than in this recent photo?

What photos are smoldering in your files that would make a good “fakeposter”?

          • I wish you would put the photos on Pinterest. I am a data analyst and i deal with huge datasets. hard disc space is not easy to free up. I wanted to download and tweet…..work demands space. On Pinterest if you post the cats pics, I can tweet!
Takes very little time. ur posters would be a hit! Up to you now.

          • They show up on the Internet in various places. Google Andy the Persian cat or Dougy the Persian cat and the photos in this blog show up. Of course, they are mixed in with unrelated photos by other people, but they are there. I’m unfamiliar with Pinterest, but will take a look.

          • I see I have a Pinterest account, Doug Thomas, but have no idea how you post on it. I don’t see anything in the WordPress settings that allows one to send things directly there, though there are several another places you can automatically send things. For example, I do automatically go to Facebook and google+. There are others set to accept my posts, but I’m not set up for them. You may have to tell me how to send photos to Pinterest….!.

          • Hmm.. I am sure there is awesome app for that!!I will look into that. In the mean time, I re-blogged your post so that you could get more from my followers!
I wish you would leave a comment on my posts!

          • I am leaving comments, and you will be pleased to know I now know what I have to do to pin things to Pinterest. Very simple once has the pin button app installed!

      • I figured out how to post on Pinterest, and see I am there as Doug Thomas and phainopepla95 (my nom d’YouTube). The name of the notebook (or whatever they call it) is “Katzen”, but it’s my only one, so I suppose that’ll pop up regardless. I got a small start on posting to it.

  1. These are great and I have been transferring all of my photos onto an iPad with a lot of room of safe keeping and backing them up on apple iCloud, and am surprised at some of the ones I had forgotten about.

    • I know what you mean. One takes so many photos that it’s easy to forget what one has. I know you do a lot of photography, so I can only imagine the size of your files, Ruth! (Hi! To Tim and Ali!)
