Andy likes to be left alone. Hee! Hee! I like to bug him! It isn’t the best arrangement, I suppose, but we work it out.

Andy, just enjoying the recliner back, a favorite spot for both of my kitties.

“What’s this…!?”
An invader shows up.

Andy is not happy about this!

“Don’t give me lovin’! You know I don’t like lovin’!” Andy’s pathetic pleas are ignored.

“Ow! Ow! Ow!”
Oh the terror! This lovin’ business is hard on Andy! He might like it…!

The hand goes away. Now Andy has to clean the stench off!

> lick! lick! lick! <
Andy’s diligence cleans him up just in time!

Careful Andy! You have just four “fingers” on your hand and I’m not so sure I’m reading you correctly!
I feed you, remember!

“You got it right, human!”

Andy’s exhausted from all this lovin’ and clean up. He’s fading fast….!

> zzzzzzzzzzz… <
so cute! lovely cat! 💕🐱
Thanks! The kitties are smoke Persians, though that isn’t always obvious since I keep them trimmed (teddy bear cut) because they mat up pretty bad otherwise. (Andy doesn’t like being brushed; Dougy does. Guess which one mats the worst!)
I love your kitties.
Thanks! They are very sweet, mild-mannered cats, and they are soft as cashmere. Dougy isn’t cooperating with the camera this week or I’d post more photos of him, too. I hope that changes in the next few days because I know there are Dougy fans and there are Andy fans. Both need to be satisfied!
I wish you courage for tomorrow .
In friendship
Michel
I liked the dialogue and Andy ‘ s attitude.
Thanks! I have mostly good days, though I am feeling a bit light-headed today.
Bwwaaa..I like the catitude! From Andy, no less. His eyes say it all. I give that look to mom often….it’s a “don’t you dare touch the furs!’ and “Cwap, you touched the furs….hours of cleaning are ahead.”
Shoko
LOL! Yes, once again the Canadian Cats are shockingly similar to their Nebraska brothers!
Isn’t it a hoot….they certainly have their own personalities. Kali is just as mild mannered as toast. She was sound asleep in the stroller last night. Shoko is all together different.
And how!
It is supposed to be very good for your health to laugh. I’m going to be in top shape for at least a week after this post. The laughter began at the second pic and took three minutes to stop after the last. You got the whole sequence beautifully!
Thanks, Angela! Sometimes I get a sequence like this or other times I get a video. I need to try for a video next time.
What gets me is that, once you get down to their level, the better to pet and skritch them, they’ll move just out of reach, but want some more. I guess they’re ensuring we get some exercise.
Ha! HA! That’s certainly the result! Andy is notorious for avoiding lovin’ that way.
Andy is a very expressive little fellow, Doug! Good captures of his expressions. I bet they are both really happy to have you back home again!
They are happy to have me back, and both have been more possessive of me since. Andy really seemed upset I was headed out this morning. Dialysis trumps kitty wishes, though!
It does like like he is flipping you the bird in one of those photos 🙂
I was scandalized!
Love the catitude
You always seem to catch it
Great post
Sheldon
Probably because the boys always give it, Sheldon! (Persians are supposed to be mild, pleasant kitties, but they do manage cattitude just the same!)
Love it! Cats will have their say.
And how!
My cat chased a raccoon out of the house and I haven’t seen him since. The cat. Haven’t seen the racoon either. But I am worrying about my cat.
I hope you kitty comes back unharmed! Raccoons can be extremely vicious.
I know. Not as vicious as the people around here though.
I worry more about people harming them, too.
Andy seems to act a lot like Mr. M, with the exception that Mr. M tends to hop on my lap for tummy rubs – he encourages these by giving me hugs and cheek rubs.
Andy comes around during the night and begs for lovin’ He really wants it, but he doesn’t want me to know it!
Sounds like he also wants to be the aggressor, which is sort of M’s thing, too.
He does let me know when the lovin’ gets out of hand. Specifically, he gives me a swat or runs away! Silly goose! His brother Dougy is the exact opposite, bugging me for lovin’ all day!
Purrseidon sort of does her own thing, but she does love trying to wrestle with Saphera (husky, who is sort of her surrogate mom – that could explain a lot of why Purrseidon doesn’t seem quite right for a cat)… Mr. M is very cattish, he also controls our ‘encounters’ and simply leaves if he disapproves.
Sounds like a cat alright!
Yes, in that way, she’s a cat.
