I offer Andy the seasonal candy corn candy.(Traditionally sold around Hallowe’en for those outside the Hallowe’en zone.) Many don’t like it since it is, um, “sugar flavored” as best I can tell. Maybe Andy can be enticed.
Andy gives me his “You kidding? No one likes candy corn!” look and goes back to kitty bathing. (Now I can eat the disgusting stuff without Andy begging.)

I like Candy Corn except I believe it is made with Gelatin which makes me back away.
It'[s better in small quantities for those who have other issues with it.
How does he feel about Circus Peanuts ?
Andy and his late brother never learned to eat human foods, and when offered a sniff of them, never showed interest in the food again. I glad about that!
It doesn’t look or smell anything like a kitty treat, says smart Andy, so it probably doesn’t taste like one. You eat it, man – I dare you!
Andy and Dougy both were interested in what I had to eat or drink, but were s=satisfied to just sniff it.
Never pilfered anything?
I don’t leave things out since I know many foods have things in them that are unhealthy or lethal for cats. Andy is a clever kitty, so I even have to block cabinet doors where he might get into something harmful.
I also do not leave things out, but certain characters here try to grab things right out of my hands when I am cooking.
Oh no! That must be a challenge! I know how persistent kitties can be when they have a target on their minds! You are at fault for making such delicious foods, I fear, Dolly!
I think I’ve told you that Pyshka pilfers greens for herself, but she also tries to steal chicken or fish for Uncle Barmalei who then let’s her sit in his “throne” (top of the tower) for a while. Beba is the only well-mannered lady.
LOL Sure, it’s always my fault!
Andy is smart! I never was a candy corn fan, too sweet and no other flavors I could discern. Now plain, unadulterated chocolate bars were another thing…I loved those! 🙂 I don’t eat any candy now, but do love dates and figs.
I try to avoid goodies. Candy corn is one of those things that sounds more interesting than it is. I like the chocolate, too!
I love candy corn! So sweet and yummy.
I like to bite the white part off, then the orange, and finally eat the yellow part. My sister in Seattle just told me that’s how she eat them, too.
Great minds think Alike!!
…or, perhaps, it’s the result of a genetic flaw. LOL!
Excellent way to eat your candy quietly without be disturbed by Andy! 🙂

He just wants to know what I have in case it is a kitty treat or other yummy food!
he saw the scary facebook post, it is made from snakes ;O)))
LOL! That’d do it for me!
I was okay with candy corn until one day, a student I was working with binged on a bag of the stuff during recess. When he came in, he promptly ran to the wastebasket next to my desk and threw up. I had to sit all day next to the smell of candy corn barf. So, yeah, Andy.
I felt light headed and vaguely like I should do the same after eating a lot less than that! I think that the sugar overload is the reason. I’ve since finished the bag and won’t need to try it again for five, ten years! It’s as nasty as i recall.
